This eco story is still unfortunately very timely. Beautifully illustrated and very poignant.

A beautiful book from bygone times but with a timeless story

Lovely book and story. My Mother used to read this to me as a child. I have purchased this as a present for my daughter. A very poignant story. This is a board book copy. Love the illustrations too.

This book is just stunning. Beautiful images and words relevant today, I just adore this book.

The Little House is a real trip down memory lane for me. I read it over and over again as a child but then the book was lost. It covers night and day, the changing of the seasons and the encroachment of the city on the countryside. This little house has feelings and the reader is totally drawn into it's decline and eventual happiness. I missed being able to read this story to my sons so I can't wait to read it to my grandson.

Loved this book years ago. Great little story, although not sure we all want to live in the country. The city has a lot going for it.

È più lungo che aspettavo. A mio bimbo di 10 mesi non piace per niente, ma riproviamo quando è un po' più grande. Le illustrazioni sono belli e la storia è carina.

The Little House raconte l'histoire d'une petite maison qui se retrouve encerclée par la ville agressive et bruyante. L'histoire est vraiment émouvante, l'autrice décrit les sentiments de la petite maison au fur et à mesure du temps. Un grand classique de la littérature pour enfants qui me met toujours les larmes aux yeux.
