This is the 10th metabo grinder I own and so far the best. Power to spare and just like my others top quality. I get about 8-10 years on them before I let them go I have 5 for shop use and five for field all are in the 6 inch class but one that's is the flat head design. Keep it up metabo I've been a customer for 25 years now

It's a pretty penny but is way better than a dewalt or Milwaukee Its like a German car lol sadly tool made in the US don't have the the reputation they had in the past

I've used Metabo for years without any failures. This angle grinder failed after 4 uses. I'm sure Metabo will warranty the grinder.

I sent my machine in for a warranty repair and they told me I needed all kinds of new stuff and it wasn’t “warranty worthy”I dealt directly with metabo with a guy named Rob. He was horrible. I told him I didn’t want them to do any repairs on my grinder and I’ll take it back in the same condition I sent it. I sent it as one piece, I received it dismantled in pieces. All the small pieces and housing were thrown in an envelope in half way taped up in a box. Garbage. I favored metabo and this goes to show how customer service can make or break a customer.

My "brand new" grinder was already previously opened and has scuffs. The handle, guard and nuts were just thrown in with it with no care. I expect a heck of a lot more for it being $300

If you want an effective quality grinder this is the one. You will not find better for the price. Actually made in Germany unlike some look a likes with the same name. A joy to use.
