It only works on the fast speed. The slow speed switch does not work. Package damaged, all the parts scattered, much of the thread in tangles. Obviously, it has been used. Delivery took from August 4 to August 29. Don't waste your money.

This sewing machine barely sews. It's fine on two thin pieces of fabric, but trying to sew something with more thickness, like two pieces of denim or a zipper onto khaki type material, it fails. The lowest speed setting doesn't have enough force to move the fabric or needle at all. The highest setting works for one or two inserts, but then stops. Using USB power or the AA battery options do not seem to matter.Additionally, when powered off, there is likely still some type of power drain, as I gave it a second shot a couple days later after being let down, only to find out the batteries were fully drained. And these were brand new Amazon AA batteries that I've never had issues with.I do not recommend this item!

It does not work since parts and instructions are missing. I opened too late for return. Don't buy.Karen

The media could not be loaded.  Just an update to my review.At first I was wery disappointed. Got it 3 weeks later then expected and got it in damaged box and the product was slightly demeged. Problem for me was that the machine did not work with the battery. I purchased new battery and it works now so I updated my score and review.No 5 stars since really slow delivery.

Would not recommend. The one I got never powered on. I tried with new batteries and the USB cable and was unsuccessful at getting it to work. What a disappointment.

Of all the different handheld sewing machines I looked at this seemed to be the best quality. Once I received it and tried to use it I realized it is not what I thought it was. It's difficult to maneuver it's hard to set up the instructions are so small you can't see them or read them and there is absolutely no power to this little machine. It's single thread so it does a single stitch and it's very difficult to keep the stitches from coming out when you're trying to tie off. I gave it my best shot to make it work but ended up returning it.
