I have an All Ponds Solutions water filter and pump for our small pond and it has functioned well for a year now using the same impeller but over time the filter foams become less effective and despite repeated cleaning they are starting to clog with debris: I find that purchasing a replacement set of filters extends the life of the originals, particularly if you allow the filters to dry thoroughly and then wash out the "dead" algae and debris.These filters are direct replacements, although their is no fine filter (although they supply one with the pump), allowing for that statement, both coarse filters function ok and my pond is crystal clear; it seems clearer though with a fine mesh filter from the original pump kit. So why have I deducted a star? Easy, price. I think that this item should be priced around the £4.99 mark rather than £7.99 I paid for it - they just don't represent good value in my eyes and should be far cheaper.

I ordered two replacement packs for my pond filter, and was at first disappointed to find that rather than the fine filter I was expecting both were of the course foam. The fine filter had worked excellently and I had a clear pond, and so I was dubiously that the course filter would work as well. However All Ponds explained they no longer did the fine filter due to issues with the water flow, which in my experience was true as the fine filters more or less needed cleaning every day. I returned one packet and use the other in my filter. It took a little longer to achieve but once again my pond has clear water without the need for a daily clean (now just once a week). Big thumbs up from me, would definitely buy again. Thanks to Sarah at All Ponds for great and swift customer service!

Fitted my filter fine. Pond water still clear after two weeks fitted.

Don't know why but this foam filter blocks up in half the time the original did reducing the necessary cleaning to 10-12 days instead of 15-20.

Good replacement item for filter pump came with. Was thicker than original filter

First attempt at a pond & had this running for nearly a week now, easy to set up & everything seems fine. Emailed all pond solutions & they were very helpful. Arrived very quickly & water still crystal clear.
