Kinda garbage honestly, they stopped working a little bit after buying them. The tape stuff that comes with them does not hold them at all. And you can’t use them for behind a tv (like the picture) unless you bring the sensor thing and somehow attach it to the front of the screen, otherwise it won’t pick up the remote.

Love these lights! It never would have occured to me that a little light behind the tv screen would make the picture appear so much better. Wvwn hearing that didn't make sense to me, and i didn't really believe it would work. I guess it's one of those things you just have to try/see for yourself to believe. I highly reccomend trying it out for yourself. I actually decided to buy these lights specifically because they were on a lightning deal. I had been wanting to purchase some ambiebt tv light for a few weeks, so with such a great price, it was time. After using them, i would've paid the regular price, which is still totally reasonable. They are super simple to "install" you just stick them to the back of your screen in a square pattern or in horizontal lines stacked on top of each other. Make sure they are all wire connected ( they just snap together) and then plug them into the back of the tv. Or if you dont have a flat screen/smart tv, plug into a usb and into a wall plug. Any newer tv should have a place to just plug the lights straight in. They can light up a whole bunch of different colors, so they make nice ambient light even when you aren't watching tv!

The only reason I am ranking it so low is because it will NOT stick.EDIT 01/22/19: I'm updating my review as I am surprised, and pleased, with the customer service and new item that was sent to me in placement of the original. I was contacted by two customer service reps from the company but I rarely check my personal inbox so I missed the first rep. Months later, I received a message from the second rep, Jessica, and she was offering me a full refund. I did ask that I be sent a second one as the first may just be faulty and was immediately sent one. This one sticks MUCH better than the first and I have no issues with it. I never asked for customer service to contact me or for a refund so that was nice that they tried, not once, but numerous time to contact me. That says a lot for the company. These lights are seriously amazing and I may just purchase a few more since I know the first was a little faulty. You can change the colors, speed, fade with a remote. I do suggest giving these a shot. Obviously, the company cares about making things right IF you so happen to receive one that isn’t what is expected and that’s a neat thing in itself. Thank you for making this right and expect more purchases from a very happy customer!

So, it's pretty neat. I have mine stuck to the back of my tv, lights up very well and looks bad@$$. My games look great on the tv alongside the backlights. Easy enough to use, you just stick it to the back of your tv and plug it into the tv's USB.The good: Bright, will definitely light up a room. Cool enough colors. Easy instillation. Looks great.The bad: Mine might be faulty? The whole bottom row of the remote makes the lights blink (it turns on for a few seconds, then off for a few seconds, and repeats). I thought it was a mode, but it doesn't make sense because the entire bottom row of colors do that, and also the static white light. That's very annoying, because I specifically wanted a the pink color. ALSO, when the blinking mode happens, I get a notice on my TV that the light is using up too much power, and to shut it off. These issues don't happen when I use the other colored buttons, just the bottom row and the static white light. Some of the modes I can't use (the flash, strobe) because they "draw too much power from my tv" (that's the message that pops up). Fade seems to work okay.I also noticed that out of the package, some of the tape was already off of the lights, so I'm worried about how long it will stick.Overall, I'm not UPSET with my purchase, but I am disappointed by some of the issues. I can't use the full range of lights available, and using different modes affects my TV. I specifically wanted a pink halo around my tv, and I can't get that. So yea, pretty disappointed.I don't regret my purchase, but I would have chosen a different brand had I know this stuff prior. I suggest you choose a different one as well. It's cheap and it kinda works, so if you bought it I don't think you'd be angry with your purchase--because it really does look good. You just might not be able to use all the colors and modes. In the future, I might give this one away and buy another one.PLEASE READ EDIT: (about a few days later) going to return it. Remember how I said I was worried about it sticking? It fell...twice! Soooo the remote doesn’t work right. Some modes take up too much power. I can’t use certain lights. AND IT WONT STICK. So forget giving it away, I want my money back! Maybe mine was faulty but I suggest you go with a different brand.

This product is very neat! I originally had them on the back of my wall-mounted flatscreen tv and the look was too cool! It illuminated color from the back but the brightness was never overpowering as to distract you from whatever it is you are watching. The only downfall I have experienced with these strips is the glue on the back isn't the best at keeping them in place, after a day they would start to fall and I would have to push them back on. Eventually I decided to take them from my tv and install them on the top of my very large fish tank. That looks very cool, just as neat as the illuminated tv if not better. It doesn't bither my fish one bit and is very eye-catching. The only reason this product got a 4-star review instead of the full 5 is due to the glue not holding up.

Love these lights for behind the tv! The colors are beautiful and soothing. They add just enough light to make tv watching in the dark easier on the eyes and they add beautiful ambiance to the room. My only dislike is that they don’t adjust like in the picture. You can’t put one strip on one side of the tv and another strip on another side, etc. The lights are one long strand and you have to bend them to get it around the tv which causes them to be too short and to not stick in the corners. But for the price, not a huge deal.

Subpar brightness. Does everything else as expected and advertised however although the 4 pin connections aren't the tightest but nothing a bit of electrical tape can't handle. Plenty of other brands out there that do a better job.Would not recommend.
