Where is Moldova NEW 2018 Compact Edition (2018)

Despite my initial concerns that this game just involves finding Moldova on a map, it is actually a great game.If you like a good mix of trivia and strategy and luck then this is the game for you. Admittedly it does take a bit of time to get to grips with but it's worth it (try I Spy or Snap if you really can't face the 15 minuets time investment).The game last around an hour and is probably best with three to four players.

Quite honestly my favourite board game to date! Every night with people round seems to turn into a night of Moldova, unexpectedly at first, but now it's just a given. Combines the strategy of risk with pure trivia in a great way and you'll find yourself learning geography as you go so as to best beat your opponents and win the game. Great variety of questions also!

This is a great game and suitable for players of various ages. It is very different to a lot of other games and some of the rules take a little while to fully understand but the support from the manufacturer / inventor is amazing. I sent an email with a few questions on a Saturday evening and within an hour was speaking to the inventor by phone who was able to help out with great enthusiasm. After a couple of games it starts to make sense and is not a game you are going to get bored (no pun intended!) with quickly. Setup time is about 5 mins and it lasts about an hour so is good in that respect too. Quality of the components is excellent too.

Some of the rules are too complicated; the game lasts too long.

A fun and entertaining game. My only quiblle with it, and this generally appllies to all general knowledge based games, is the anglo-centric questions makes it more difficult for non british players.
