Pretty nifty!
I didn’t think they could transport the shades like this but that is pretty cool. Just make sure you put the right side shade with the metal rings. If the Velcro can’t connect or overlap by a lot then the metal ring is on the wrong side of the shade. Feels pretty sturdy.

Large enough for full-size lamps. Nice linen-look fabric.
These lampshades are the kind that come unassembled, I supposed because they can be packed into a much smaller box than if they were shipped already assembled. They are also probably a lot less fragile to ship unassembled compared to assembled. They did not come with assembly instructions, but it was easy enough to figure out. I'm glad another reviewer mentioned that washers with smaller inner holes come in the box because mine were hidden inside the box, and I nearly lost them forever to the cardboard recycling truck. There are tiny clips on the inner portion of the lampshade that clip onto the circle frames, and a long, thin length of velcro that holds the two side together firmly and smoothly. The velcro is completely hidden and is flat, thin and smooth. When you're finished assembling, you'll have a pair of fairly large lampshades. These shades are a good size for my full-size table lamps. Their shape is nearly a straight drum shape; they look straight up-and-down in my photos, but they do have a slight taper which makes them slightly narrower around the top edge than the bottom. They are made of linen-look fabric that is the perfect neutral off-white shade with subtle linen flecks in it. This fabric is perfect for formal or casual settings and everything in between, and also works well with both modern and more traditional decor. The shade's fabric is backed by sturdy, flexible, translucent white plastic that helps give the fabric shape and rigidity, and it also softens the light from your bulb nicely while letting nearly all of the light shine through.Overall, these were a nice surprise for assemble-yourself shades. The are full size, a classic, versatile shape, made of neutral linen fabric that looks great, are easy to attach to (probably?) most lamps, and look very professional once assembled. By looking at them, you'd never know they were DIY assembly.

Improper fit, Missing parts & Some assembly required…
I’ve ordered other lampshades from Amazon before, and they typically require assembly. I expected to find instructions in the box, but alas there were none. Good thing I’ve done this before. These shades are easy to put together if you have a little patience. Unroll the shade after removing it from its packaging. Because there isn’t much taper to these shades it doesn’t matter which edge is up or down. Just know that when you start, the hoop with the bar and holder will be at the bottom of the shade. I started with this hoop, just because it’s easier to work with the plain hoop when adding it last.Along the edge of the shade are these little metal clips (see pictures). Gently press the ring of the hoop into the clip and work your way around the hoop, clipping the shade to the hoop. I found that using a fingernail to gently pry out on the tab as I pressed the hoop into position helped the hoop to slide in easier. Do not try to bend them out and then bend them back over the hoop. That will likely break off the tabs. When you get all the way around, use the velcro will attach the two ends together. Just try to keep it a little loose for nowNow repeat the process with the other hoop. Keep the barrel in the same position and put this hoop down into the barrel at an angle, then pull upward to attach the hoop into a clip. As you work your way around the hoop attaching the clips, keep gently working the hoop upward around the outer edge of the barrel. Once you get that last clip in place, you may want to adjust the tension of the velcro to work out any wrinkles.I was pretty happy with the purchase once I got them assembled. They’re pretty sturdy and look as good as any store bought shade. Given the price of a lamp shade in a store, I really want to like these shades. They aren’t super thick, so they don’t block the light, but rather diffuse it to better light up the room. They look good on the lamp but the ring that sits down around the bulb isn’t as small/tight as it should be. This means if you bump the lamp, the shade wobbles off center and sits crooked. Even just turning the lamp off and on will disrupt the shade making it sit crooked. For some this may not be an issue, if the lamp is in a safe and guarded position and you’re using an Alexa to control the lamp, but for normal day to day usage, this is kind of a deal breaker.I went back and looked at the online description, and it indicates that it comes with a “harp saddle” piece (Part B). I assume that would grip the base of the bulb receptacle and prevent the wobble. However, as you can see by the pictures, I did not receive those parts, and yes I did double check the box. I did receive 4 giant washers (Part A), which can be used to sandwich the ring and allow you to use it with a standard harp style lamp. That seems to work, so if you have the harp, you can make these work. Sadly for me, I don’t have the harp on the lamps I wanted to use these on.

Nice shade, beware you have to assemble.
I was a little surprised these came unassembled, so I looked at the ad to see if I missed something blatant in the description, not that I could see, except a video that I typically skip over because, well most of the time they are worthless. Anyway, yes you do have to put the shade together, but the material is very nice, heavy duty. The better half says she really like them so that's good for me ! Even though there is a video in the ad, I do think there should be instructions with the package. So many of these "made in China" products seem to forget that. They don't even need words, just pictures, but I digress. A couple of minutes of studying the parts and we had them put together. Remember they are tapered so one ring goes to one end and vice versa. The lamp attachment can be adjusted for a variety of lamps, with or without a harp. Which BTW washers are included with a smaller diameter hole to affix to the harp post. The washers are loose in the box , so like mine, if you don't see them , check under the bottom flap of the box.I give 4/5 stars because of lack of instructions, but the product is pretty clever and nice quality'Thumbs Up ^!

So far, so good!
These look great, and are exactly what I was looking for. I was a little thrown off with how they came packaged - they come with the material rolled up, and you have to assemble it. It was very easy to figure out - just unexpected.
