Dr Mercola Bark & Whiskers Probiotics - 38 Billion CFU, Dogs & Cats 90g

My little 2 year old dog is very anxious and as he had Giardia and Panacur at 4months nobody suggested a probiotic . Having battled the anxiety thinking it was just him I then read about probiotics and anxiety. After a lot of research to find the best one I settled on this one and after 2 weeks I’m seeing a difference . He is wagging his tail more and life seems more fun. As he’d never had a tummy problem I hadn’t thought of probiotics. But I’m glad I did. It’s brilliant stuff.

My dog struggles with rumble tummy and gets very bad wind, by having two scoops of this on her dinner it really helps, not stopped it completely but she has definitely improved while being on it, would recommend trying it,

This product has been life changing for my cat. He is 16 and was beginning to struggle with health issues. Originally purchased mercola product direct feom company in usa..whick worked out much cheaper until i had to pay import duty...so was recommended this company.Quick delivery..the products from mercola brand are truely amazing..i thought in julu i was going to loose my 10yr old lab as she had sudfered all her life with stomach bowel probs....to the point of in july being at vets undergoing tests for bowel cancer.pancreatitis etc..all bloods and acans came back negative£500 they wanted to take her in and take more blood..and cut her open to look into bowel...i didnt undedstand as they couldnt dind anything wrong and invasive surgery for this ol girl didnt seem right so purchased mercole enzyme.krill oil urquinol oil and probiotic gut protecting powder..since july she has gained 5kg.has a sheen back in her coat is hapoy and most of all no more bad tummys..blood etc...and she fit enough to be working again....

Good but pricey ! Watched Dr Mercolas video and bought it as my dog has pancreatitis. Sprinkled on the food my dog would not eat it. . There are just as good probiotics out there for half the price. Too pricey to buy again

I’ve been using this for a while now & our dog has settled very nicely on it. Please note that although it is expensive, I only use half dose & it still works really well. It contains a good variety of different strains & also the important Bifidobacterium Longum, which according to new research, helps dogs be calmer & less reactive. This strain is not available in the UK yet, so I was pleased to find it included in this product. Also using it at very low dose for my IBD cat & so far, so good.

Took so long to deliver

My 4 year old Cavalier King Charles has digestive issues and periodically he would have a bad episode...which happened this past March. He would not eat his food (quality brand...I have used Canidae, Fromm, Zignature etc.)that he absolutely loved and instead would go out to eat grass and throw up. Sometimes he would not eat all day, others once he threw up, maybe an hour or so later he would finally eat. Usually a switch in the brand of food/protein would solve the problem, but this past March, that was not the case. Nothing I did seemed to help. I took him to the vet and he discovered that my dog had an unusually large amount of yeast in his stool. Before running more expensive tests, he first wanted me to try a probiotic on him to see if clearing the yeast would make a difference. He usually carried two types in his office, Proviable (which he was out of) and Purina Forti-Flora. The Forti-Flora did absolutely nothing for him. A friend had recommended Mercola and after reading reviews I decided to give it a try. I started him on the theraputic dose which is a scoop twice a day. I saw IMMEDIATE results! He no longer had the desire to eat grass and throw up. After 2 weeks I reduced it to one scoop in the morning meal. It's now been just over 4 months and he has been doing great! My only complaint is the cost. Someone also recommended Probiotic Miracle. The container is smaller and costs about the same, but Probiotic Miracle should last 4 months according to my dogs weight where the Mercola lasts only about 1 1/2 months. The reviews are also good for that one so I plan to give it a try too and will report back on that at a later date. I know some people are against probiotics saying they don't do anything, but I have to say, it has been a blessing for my dog and has made a real difference!

14 strains of micro-organisms versus 1 strain in the type we used to use! Very effective. The package suggests putting it on food, but you can also moisten a scoop with water and spoon it into the corner of a dog's mouth, maybe a cat's depending on your cat, so you can still use it if low appetite, or withholding a meal, or going with the human recommendation that probiotics be taken on an empty stomach.
