Wildlife World Ceramic Bumblebee Nester, Gold

Arrived safely and now in situ in the garden. I have researched the best practice for this as I 1 want to attract bees and 2 want to make sure I stand the best possible chance of doing so. I found the ideal spot for me but time will tell if ideal for the bees. I have a large garden with lots of evergreens and 2 or 3 buddlia bushes. I have taken moss from the garden and dried it in the house to use as nesting material. If anyone has any other advice please leave a reply. But I have to say it is a beautiful item in its own right.

We have purchased this to put in the middle of our wild flower patch to encourage solitary bee's. It looks really smart. It comes with a little bit of nesting medium but it is only a little amount, we will need to add more but that's not really and issue.

Lovely looking bumblebee house. Good quality. Haven't put it outside yet so can't comment on durability.

Daughters more than happy that she can now put something above the patch of wildflowers we’ve now planted

I love this little skep. It’s really well made, nicely packaged in its own box, and a lovely addition to the garden. I just hope I get bees and not a mouse!

Lovely to look at , no idea yet if it will work as a nest but here’s hoping.

It's a well made item and is the same as advertised. Only thing that could improve it would be a base that allowed access to the soil if you did want to fit a ground entrance pipe but still allowed the hay to be kept off the soil. I put a tray which would go under a flower pot in the base upside down so it keeps the hay dry but still allows access to the soil. BUT as others have said and I found out as well, they will NOT stand up to a hard winter of hard frost etc. Unfortunately cracks appread and the glaze peeled off in chunks. Still usable but it Unfortunately has to be an item you MUST bring in or protect!.

It arrived quickly and in one piece thankfully, it is a nice addition to the garden especially in among the beautiful wildflowers. Now all I hope for is that the bumblebees find it and make use of it.

Het product is volledig gebroken aangekomen. Er was geen bubblewrap of luchtkussentjes in de verpakking aanwezig

ich habe das hummelhaus bestellt, weil es sehr gut ausschaut und es als winterfest beschrieben wrurde.diese behauptung ist eine glate lüge. der vergange winter war sehr mild, jedoch das hummelhaus ist trotzdem zersprungen. die glasur oberflächlich abgesprungen und auch durch das haus geht ein großer riss. ich kann nichtd verstehen, dass man einfach behauptungen aufstellt, die offenbar nicht überprüft wurden. nochdazu ist das produkt alles andere als günstig. ich würde mir irgend eine wiedergutmachung erwarten.elke ko.
