Q: does this keyboard have any USB ports for connecting a mouse or thumb drive?

Good grief I just bought this for $48 and it has no ports. The MKEYXU2 is virtually the same thing, with 2 USB ports, for $29.80!!!! I'm even dumber than I first thought.

Q: Does this keyboard have a side port for a printer cable?

No. It has a single USB cable that is hard-wired to the keyboard.

Q: can you use mac shortcuts on it? ie control c to copy, control v to paste?

Hi, Yes, you can. We even have predefined shortcuts keys on the F-Row with Cut, Copy and paste on the keyboard as well.

Q: Does this work with macmini?

This is a Mac layout condensed extended keyboard wired USB. As long as your Mac mini has a USB port working that you can plug into then this should work without problem. I have used product from macally numerous times throuout the years and they rarely have let me down. For example, right after I purchased this keyboard I dumped an entire brand new cup of coffee on it and I unplugged it and turned it over and then blew it out with canned air and then set it on a fan keyboard down and the next day plugged it back in and it is still working. I have also plugged it into a PC and it also works with the PC keyboard layout. This is not a bad little keyboard especially bang for the buck from a brand that has been in business for a long time. If you are looking for a full size extended keyboard this is not that. This is the condensed extended keyboard meaning it does not have elongated keys such as your command key. The command key on this is the same size as your other text keys. If you have never used the condensed extended keyboard it might feel a little strange at first but as soon as you get used to it you realize that it is just as fast and some people claim faster then the full size extended keyboard version. It does have a very similar key touch feel to the soft touch MacBook pro keys. I hope this helps.
