HydraPak Water Reservoir (1.5L, 2L, 3L) - Hydration Bladder Fits Most Backpacks – High-Flow Bite Valve, Leak Proof, Fully Reversible, and Dishwasher Safe

I bought this as an upgrade for 2 of our Teton day/hike packs and I'm so glad I spent the extra money. I like the way this structurally stays in shape with the water and the flow nozzle is much easier to use than a bite nozzle. At least for me. I can get a lot of water in this and it fits perfectly in the bag. It was a little more expensive than I would have preferred, but I'm getting to the age where I say that about most things, so maybe that's a me problem, haha. I still highly recommend this product!

Worked great and perfect for my adventure riding. I have it in my backpack and it’s been super easy to clean and installed. The materials feel’s premium and durable. Looking forward to putting it through some hard riding out on trails and highway. Recommend over cheaper variant’s.

I bought my first Hydrapak over 10 years ago. It finally sprung a leak this summer but I had used it a lot. I bought a new one on Amazon and can see that they have made a few small improvements on an already fabulous product. Amazingly I was on they're website to see what offerings they had and saw their lifetime warranty so I sent them a photo of the leaking, 10 year old bladder. I just received a warranty replacement for no charge. I have several of the leading brand (CB) in all shapes and sizes that all leak from the big round screw cap. The Hydrapak is so much easier to seal and to clean. Once you have one of these, you won't turn back.

This is a great product. It holds its shape well, and is easy to clean/ dry.

Update: previously gave a 2-star review for a faulty bite valve. Since then, Hydrapak reached out and offered to send 2 new Blaster Bite Valves. They are of much better quality and look great. Thank you so much to Hydrapak’s amazing customer service, I very much appreciate their support and knowing they stand behind the gear they make, will definitely stick with them in the future.Original Review (9/10/20): I love the shape shifting aspect of this reservoir, it’s nice to be able to customize how much water you take and how it carries depending on the hike. I also love the stability the bezel provides when in use, it’s much easier to slide in and out of a pack rather than a large unwieldy sack!However, the nozzle is faulty and didn’t last long. I’ve only been using this reservoir on hikes for that past 2 months and a few weeks ago I noticed the bite nozzle was leaking and dripping onto my clothes while hiking. It has since done this on every hike when left in Flow and I have to switch to Locked after every sip, which didn’t use to be the case.Most recently, I was gearing up for a camping trip this weekend and filled up my reservoir the night before so I wouldn’t have to do it in the morning. 3 hours later, I walked by my gear and the carpet was soaking wet, all 3 liters had seeped out through the nozzle!I know, it has a Lock function for a reason, but it’s also a Bite+Flow design, which implies that water shouldn’t actively be leaking out unless force is applied.

I am very impressed by the HydraPak Shape-Shift water bladder.First, for anyone wondering, the quick disconnect is perfectly compatible with the Osprey quick connectors.Second, I really like the top fill design much better than the traditional fill design with the large screw cap on the front (like camelbak). It is much easier to fill, especially while the bladder is still in the backpack.Third, the shape is much better than traditional bladders; it is rectangular instead of trapezoidal and is easier to fit into a larger variety of bladder compartments.Fourth, I really like the quick disconnect. I can disconnect the hose without the bladder leaking. This is especially useful as it allows removing the bladder from a backpack while leaving the hose in place on the backpack (no fishing it out and back in again!).Fifth, I absolutely love that I can turn it inside out and it's top-rack dishwasher safe! This makes it so much easier to clean.The material seems rugged, but not as stiff as traditional bladders, so I'll have to see just how durable it is. But I don't expect any issues since it is always used inside backpacks with dedicated bladder holders where it is well protected.The low-profile feature was a little difficult to engage at first; it is similar to a zip-loc connection. However, after applying a small amount of the included food-grade silicon lubricant, it was much easier to manipulate.

I've used many bladders and this glorious hiking essential is spectacular. Easy to fill, easy to clean, great flow from the mouth piece which is important, especially when hiking uphill at the Grand Canyon. My favorite part that I didn't realize would be so beneficial is the magnet! I don't need to look down to connect, it's so strong I just wave over my chest and it pulls it into position. It does taste a little like a pool floaty but that'll go away. Best purchase ever!

I ordered two of these for our backpacking packs and they both leak. All of my gear got wet and half of my water supply was wasted. I didn’t use them until after the return window was over so I’m stuck with them.
