Can anyone tell me exactly what guitar strings to buy for spares, it says d'addario exp series..but there are so many to choose from im so confused.

Hi there,It really depends on your preference.They come with 12s on as standard:D'Addario EXP16But if you want to go lighter I would choose 11s, easier on the fingers.if you don't want to change the strings often EXPs are good, I would also look at Elixir's they last 3 times as long as normal strings.If you don't mind then you can get cheaper strings, bronze or phosphor bronze.Phosphor bronze stops finger squeak.Let me know if you need any more info.Kind Regards,Rachel LongstoneSales & Customer CareRich Tone Music

i'm completely new to guitars , what type of music be best for this?

Basically it is an acustic guitar. You can play any kind of music rock,pop,soul any sing along song. Bear in mind being a thin acustic the volume of sound will be lower than a conventional acustic when unplugged. Best when plugged to an amplifier
