I have used CADAC'S for sometime now, infact for many years.This doesn't mean the new one is to replace a worn out one... Quite the opposite. This is our 3rd abd because it's so flat and light. It's perfect for our campervan.We have not had a CADAC that has worn out or broken. Well worth the money.Quick, convenient and excellent cooking surfaces that are easy to clean.When choosing your CADAC think about where your going to use it the most, then decide on the many different ones available.If it just for home use for example have one that is on legs for convenience of cooking...or for us this time, one that folds flat but has sufficient cooking surfaces to cook for at least 4 adults on a campsite easily....

Item is sturdy and comes in a great bag that can be used for storage and carrying around. Just be aware that it appears that these can come with either a threaded gas connection, or a quick release fitting. The images on the Amazon website show a threaded fitting, and the 'frequently bought together' regulator is also threaded. Unfortunately the one supplied to us has a QR fitting, and the regulator that we bought at the same time doesn't fit. Fortunately Cadac also make the same regulator with a QR fitting on the hose, so it was a simple matter of returning the first regulator and ordering the correct one.

I have several cooking stoves for differing Fishing trips. For me, this is the Rolls Royce of the camping cooking equipment. I absolutely love it. I also purchased the twin Canister Manifold so I can use 2x C500 canisters rather that a 5kg gas bottle. This works a treat, cooked a full 3 course meal on this.Just remember, just because you're the field, that doesn't mean that dried noodles is not the only option..

My old stove has passed its best so I chose this one after some research.Having the pot stand gives more flexibility to use more than just a pot/pan.The grill plates are better than frying pans and can hold more when cooking.It's a shame the bag is not quite wide enough to keep the quick release nozzle attached when storing away but it's easy to attach with the included spanner so it's not a deal breaker.

I was sceptical that this would be unto the job but I was wrong. It's a great bit of kit. It can get unto temp very quickly and is more powerful than the hob in our motorhome. The versatility of the cooking plates adds a very worthwhile benefit. Overall very pleased

Whereas you can buy cheaper 2 ring gas stoves, this one has excellent quality which makes the extra expense well worth it. I especially like the control of the gas and the 2 separate griddle plates. The bag was a great surprise as it is well made and stores all the parts of the stove including the 2 griddle plates.
