(If this was untrue then Lancaster Smoke Houses would be in serious trouble). Over the years I've had quite a few of these excellent fish and very very occasionally I'll come across them in supermarkets in England. I regularly purchased these from fishmongers in Edinburgh so Arbroath exports them on a small scale. A truly noble smoked fish!
