I am so happy I decided to purchase despite the negative reviews. Yes the corners do roll up but if you put something on each corner for 24 hours they go down a lot. New rug smell when you first open but gone after 2 days. They make these sort of command strips for corners I will be putting on too. However, for $100 for an 8X10 rug that is in style I am impressed! It is thin so we did use a rug mat. The color is perfect for dogs as the colors weave in and out so it can get a little dirty.

Rug is beautiful, a little thin but soft. Definitely worth the price, didn’t have any issues getting it to lay flat however will be buying backing to keep from bunching up in the center.

it's a think rug, but it's very elegant looking. Wish I could keep the edges from curling up. Kept weights on them for over two weeks and they still curl up. Don't want to put carpet tape on my brand new hardwood floors.

The carpet is very thin and bunches up quite easily.

The colors in the photos are very true to life and it goes perfectly with my living room decor. Not super thick.

A little background first........This is the third Superior brand rug I have purchased in the past few years, all the same size and approximate price point. The first rug I bought was really just an experiment; I wanted a rug for my kitchen, but was concerned about cost vs. durability. I had no wish to spend big money on a rug that would quickly look worn out and/or stained due to heavy kitchen traffic. I came across a (Superior) rug one day and figured I would give it a try. I didn't love the look of the first rug I bought (attractive enough, but not really my style) but because it cost me $42, all in, I was not particularly fussed. As far as quality goes, keeping price in mind of course, I have been completely pleased with these rugs. I would not describe them as "plush" (I recommend a rug pad for both comfort and to avoid slippage) and they honestly don't scream "luxury" either, but as far as affordable options go, I think they are both reasonably attractive and durable. The only real negatives IMHO: they have a strong chemical smell (immediately noticeable upon unwrapping) which takes some time to dissipate. I air them out on my balcony for a few days before bringing them into the house. Also, because these rugs come rolled and tightly wrapped in plastic, they do take some time to uncurl and lie flat. I have found that lying them on the floor, upside down, and stacking heavy items (I use books) on the curled areas helps speed this process up. Otherwise, I cannot find fault with these rugs; they are well constructed, and have proven durable and resistant to stains. As such, I had been keeping my eyes open for one in a style that really speaks to me. This one was a winner! From the first time I saw it (well over a year ago) I really, really, liked the look of it, but unfortunately, every time I tried to purchase it it either wasn't available (in the size I needed) directly through Amazon (only through third party sellers who did not get the greatest reviews) and/or was listed for considerably more than I had come to expect one of these rugs to cost. Until recently....I decided one day, to look this rug up once again and lo and behold, it was being sold directly from Amazon for less than $50 all in. So, even though I had just recently purchased a different (Superior) rug, which I also like, I decided to snatch this one up. I am so happy I did! The pictures are accurate; the rug's colours are cream and beige, a slightly bluish-grey, brown, black, and a small amount of a deep, sage green. I especially love that the pattern, which I think is lovely, is interesting yet fairly subtle. For me, this rug is perfect in every way and I could not love it more. In fact, I like it enough that I am considering buying a duplicate for when this one (eventually) wears out.

It looks great, bouhgt a matching 8 by 10 at another site, Amazon was out of stock.Not a heavy weight material but a great carpet for the price
