The flat plug is very nice, however, make sure the angle that it is at, will work for the location you intend on plugging it into. For me, it worked very well. The outlet strip is slim, and USB ports are a plus although I am not using them in this application. I'm not sure of the gauge of this wire, with the slim design. I would, however, contemplate switching out a couple of other strips I have for this one, just so the cords aren't sticking out so far from the wall. The lights on the power switch and USB are not obnoxiously bright. Overall, a slim and modern outlet strip.

I bought this for the offset plug and that it was advertised to protect up to 1700 Joules of surge. I was expecting something a bit more heavy duty, but thats not what I received. The cord does have to 90 offset that I wanted. The plug was kinds thin too. While the picture shows that it had a flat power cable, it was far from heavy duty. The outlet part itself was also small, but that worked fine for where it was to live. Doubt I will use the USB charging, but it is there if needed. Having some experience with surge protectors, this is not to much of a step above something cheap you find at a dollar store. Will it protect like it says? Who knows, anyone can say anything to make a sale. I'm only going to use it for low wattage devices, so if you plan on running something heavy duty, you may want to look around more and let this one pass.

The best power plug Ever I used! Surge protector plug is flat so does not take any space. Essential for small spaces.

This power supply is slim and easy to hide.
