The opening to accept the king pin is oversize. The disc does not "grip" the king pin. It will easily fall off. I anticipate as I position the hitch under the king pin it will be bumped and drop into the truck bed.

I purchased this for a new fifth wheel travel trailer we were buying, but wound up having to tow the trailer home without the lube plate because it absolutely wouldn't fit. The hole (which should be standard size) was too small for the kingpin (which is a standard size) to fit. Despite multiple efforts alone and with the help of another guy - we absolutely could not get this to fit on our hitch.I purchased a cheaper one at Camping World, and it snapped on instantly - just as this one should have.The problem seems to be that this product is too rigid to allow any "give" to let it properly fit over the kingpin. What doesn't make sense is that all fifth wheel kingpins are uniform size, so I can only presume if this doesn't fit mine - it won't fit anybodys.Quite disappointing not to have this working properly for our trip home from the RV dealer. It's going back to Amazon.

Ordered and received in a timely fashion. It perfectly replaced the original disk.

Works as a friction decrease, not literally lube. I knew this when I made the purchase but some people may think it’s a disc of wd40

Kind of loose around my kingpin, but was really happy to see this included two lube plates because I didn't see anywhere that this was a 2 pack. Not sure how long these plates last compared to others because I usually end up using grease, but it is always nice to have lube plates sitting around so you don't always have to get grease everywhere. Only complaint would be that it will possibly fall off your kingpin when not hooked up and get dirty or possibly break if it falls to the ground. Otherwise, the price point is pretty great, and they seem well made to get the job done. I full time in my fifth wheel for work so I will update if any issues were to come with these lube plates as I pull my fifth wheel more than a normal seasonal camper generally does. I would recommend these lube plates to anyone wanting to avoid greasing your hitch and kingpin and just having to grease your grease points on the hitch itself.

Put it on hitch. Broke before I got it hooked up for first time.

The plastic used for this was much too brittle. It shattered the first time I hooked up the trailer.
