It’s not effective on even slightly ‘shiny’ paper, which most address labels are ..but works well on ordinary paper..

I used to have a shredder and because it wad such a boring task, i'd wait until I had a massive stack of letters to shred. That broke and I didn't want to pay alot for something I would struggle to store again. Bought these and they're great. They cover up private details and It's done in a second and letter straight into recycling. Bonus is they cost pennies and nothing to run and can fit in a drawer

I didn't expect this to be as good as it is. Really does hide name and addresses. Brilliant. I'm not sure how I've managed without it before.

I had to redo this review because maybe the photo I showed that the roller- it didn't completely cover the address on packaging because of a different type of ink they used. Other than that, it worked on letters
