After buying a second iPad I thought I'd better gt something to protect it. As I wont be mountain climbing with it, a normal case would suffice. I was bored looking at the usual Apple offerings and came across this one. I fancied something a bit different and liked the grey.The item arrived before the estimated delivery date which is always a good thing and came in an attractive presentation box.The product is very well made with good sturdy materials and strong, good quality stitching.On the inside cover there are pouches for credit cards which is an odd inclusion (I'll come back onto that later) and on the front cover is a pouch for, I'm assuming notes pages?The rear has a cut out for the rear camera and the actual iPad itself sits very securely in a plastic housing. This is a very good fit and have no worries about it falling out.The case can fold back into a tent mode (as Lenovo would would call it) which enables you to watch videos and is sturdy enough for a bit of typing.Now, back onto the credit card holders. I can't really see the point in these- yes useful in a flip phone case, but not so much an iPad case. In addition, these actually hinder the working of the case as the front of the case does not sit flush against the light sensor meaning the "wake function" does not really operate properly with it only waking the iPad 50% of the time. Also, I'm not sure how comfortable I am with them resting against the screen of the iPad- a soft microfibre material would be preferable.This product is of good quality and I am pleased with it but the inclusion of the oddly placed card holders bring it down to a 4* rating.I received this product at a reduced price in return for an honest review.

This 3Q Apple iPad Mini 4 case has a very unique design. It looks like a folded pair of jeans! It seems to be a really well made case. It feels very strong and sturdy.The iPad Mini 4 fits into it perfectly with all the cutouts in the right places for charging, headphones, camera and volume buttons. It seems very secure and protective. Like most cases, you can fold it into a stand for watching videos etc.One thing I really like about this case is that the inside of the cover is a soft material. This is what will be against the screen of your iPad Mini 4 when the case is closed. A lot of these types of cases don't have soft material inside the cover - they seem to often only concentrate on what the outside of the case looks like so this is a nice bonus.The plastic which holds the iPad Mini 4 in place is also softer than it is on many similar cases. Cheaper cases sometimes tend to have very hard, scratchy plastic but this one feels much nicer and it is just as secure. I think it is just a soft coating on the plastic though, as I had a case with plastic like this for my iPod Touch and eventually the softer coating wore off the edges to leave hard plastic underneath. But the important thing is that the material that is in contact with the back of the iPad Mini 4 is nice and soft.The case arrived in a very posh looking box and it is a very stylish, well made, strong and protective case that seems like it should last a while, but I am not sure that it is worth £24.99, let alone the original price of £39.99. That seems rather overpriced to me!I received this item at a discount in exchange for an honest review.
