Best of all the dumpling/ravioli gadgets I tried
This was a breeze to use. The circle cutters were the correct size to use in the dumpling maker. They could have been just a bit sharper, but I made it work. The press was easy to use, was comfortable on my hands, and I liked that it cut a neat line around the dumpling. It was very easy to pull off the trimmed edge. The crimp was sturdy, and I didn't have any dumpling open up in the boiling water. This was my first attempt at making ravioli, or dumpling, and I had a disaster with the "ice cube tray" ravioli maker, (they would not come out of the mold), and the metal dumpling makers like these were too hard and uncomfortable to use. These were perfect, and I will probably buy the largest size available, (6 inches), now that I know they work so well.

Fun and Easy
I ordered the hand pie presses to make fruit pies. It works great. I especially like that it has three sizes and a cutting circle for each size. I was able to use the big one and the next size down to make a dozen pies from one box of refrigerated pie crust. It doesn’t take much filling to make a pie. I had some of the can leftover. I baked my pies according to the fruit recipe which was around 30 minutes. I had friends visiting and we did an assembly line to make the pies. Children would probably love helping with them. Clean up is easy, too. Enjoy!

Looks
Haven’t tried them yet as I’m going to be using them for my kiddo who has to be gluten free and can’t have other ingredients that are in so many foods. I’ll write a complete review as soon as possible.

Works Great With Ready-Made Pie Crusts
If you're one of those "old school" chefs who likes to make their own dough from scratch, I say, God bless you. For those of us who experience less than consistent results however, I suggest using ready-made pie crusts that you can purchase in your supermarket's refrigerated/freezer section. All you need to do is let the crusts rest at room temperature for about an hour, unroll, and you're all set. A light brush of an egg wash on top is the finishing touch. And since you can fill these with these with a variety of things, from store-bought pie filling to making your own empanadas (using ground meat) or Chinese-style dumplings (you'll find a wealth of online recipes), the possibilities are indeed, endless.

This is easy and fun
I made small pasty's with the largest of of the set. they turned out great. The press was of a hard but nice quality plastic, felt sturdy. I'm sure they will last for a long time. The rings for the pastry that match the size of press required is very nice, hence the easy. Would recommend for cooks that have fun ideas.
