I don't think this would hold up to frying a steak on a cast iron pan; at least without getting scorched. It helps to keep the induction top from getting dried on stuff from boiling sauces or other stuff that will never get to 400F. As long as theres water based liquid inside of the cookware, this can't overheat. Works great for messy sauces like tomato or making jams/jellies etc.Its tacky and stays put. That also means everything sticks to it when its dry, but gets slick when wet and washes off easily. It definitely has a static charge. It seems thick enough and feels pretty durable. It seems like it should offer at least some protection to the glass cooktop from scratches and spills

After 6 months it started to deaminate.I contacted the seller and he/she said there is no warranty on the item. I was shocked and dissapointed.

We cut it down to fit our induction range top. Works great, no smell or anything. The only reason I gave four stars is the huge brand name in the middle. It’s obnoxious to me.

This is just what we wanted for our new induction cooktop. We just leave it in place all the time.Cook right on it and place anything hot on it. Easy to wipe clean and looks very nice.

I was nervous about keeping up my new induction cooktop. So happy I found this I have cooked on the mat at very high heat and works great and it’s a great protector against scratches and like a giant trivet to put hot pans. Also very easy to wipe clean.

I would highly recommend this product. It looks great and protects the induction glass cooktop. I leave the mat on the cooktop while I cook and easily wipe it clean or put it in the dishwasher.

I love the idea of having protection for my glass induction cooktop. Using the Renook extends my usable counter space without worrying about scratching the glass stove top, which is great. BUT, the mat is peeling in the areas that lay over burners. We use a cast iron skillet and dutch over, so we thought maybe we were dragging the pots, but this does not seem to be what is causing the peeling. It seems to be temperature-related, but we are not cooking on high heat, so it really should not be happening. I am disappointed, and will be looking for a more durable mat. As some other folks have mentioned, it would be great if the mat was either see-through or came with some way of marking where the burners are so we did not have to lift it up to check before we set the pot down, (but I could have lived with that).

It’s great for cooking and easy to clean on have not used it on induction yet but like to use as a cover on range to protect the glass

The product works well on our stove to to prevent scratches but my wife and I who are meticulous with maintains things and have no children are not impressed that the top layer with the design on it is peeling off and leaving thin rubber on everything. If it held up it would be 5 stars but for the price we aren’t impressed
