I have only briefly tested this cooling pad, but for the time I did, it worked a charm.I am using a 2017, 13" MacBook Pro, mainly for university work, but often use it for highly intensive programs such as Logic Pro X and games.Gaming on this laptop would often cause the CPU temperature to exceed 80-90 degrees, and although these temperatures are safe or computers - it causes the MacBook processor to throttle significantly decreasing the performance of the machine. In order to combat this I bought this cooling pad.After testing a few games, the cooling pad does a good job at keeping the temperature low. the CPU temperature now fluctuates between 64-65 degrees, which is amazing. I would have been happy if it kept it around 70-75 degrees but the fact it can keep it so low is amazing.The fans aren't literally 'silent', but are fairly quiet, just a faint hum. It is also dependent on how far you set the RPM, though I don't think any slower than top speed would be worth running them at.The build is superb, the plastic chassis doesn't feel too cheap, and the metal grid that the laptop sits on feels high grade. The fact that it is metal means does a great job at dissipating the heat as well.The product is fairly large, allowing it to accommodate laptops up to 17", though this does come at a cost of portability. It could technically be carried round, especially if you have a dedicated laptop bag, though there probably are more compact/portable cooling pads around, though they effectiveness may vary.Overall a great product - if your looking for an effective cooling pad, this one will do the job.

I purchased this product for my Lenovo Ideapad 330 laptop as the processor would run into thermal issues when under load. The CPU would hit 94C and performance would be throttled, especially during gaming or video rendering. This results in FPS drops and longer encode times. I needed to find a solution to this issue that fit my budget.After careful consideration, I ordered this product by TeckNet. The 5 1500RPM fans seemed perfect for helping with cooling with an appealing form factor and design. The product came in a good sized box that was very easy to get into. Opening the pack revealed a manual and the product itself, alongside a USB connector cable.The cooling pad is of a plastic construction with rubber feet, 5 blue LED fans and 2 plastic feet for raising the laptop at an angle. On the left side of the pad is an RPM adjustment wheel and 2 USB ports. The cooling pad is powered by USB from your computer by using the connector cable and linking the two devices together. This also leaves an extra USB 2.0 port for additional expansion options, meaning that you don't lose connectivity when you attaching the cooling pad.Once I had the pad set up, I connected it to my laptop and placed my laptop on top. At idle, my Intel i7-8750h immediately saw a drop of about 9C in temperatures (bearing in mind that at idle, processor temperatures are more inaccurate). I then started up a render in Magix Vegas using all 12 threads, and used an application to observe processor frequencies and thermals. Using the cooling pad resulted in a great temperature drop, and in a well cooled room or with outside air coming in, my processor no longer throttles under heavy load, maintaining its turbo speeds for a much longer duration. My NVIDIA GTX 1050 GPU also saw temperature improvements under load as well. I tend to leave the product on its max fan setting, as it is not loud at all. My laptop is louder than the cooling pad's fans. One thing to bear in mind is that the blue LEDs get dimmer when you adjust the RPM. I would be inclined to think that this is because the wheel adjusts the resistance of power to the fans, and that the LED power and fan power are on the same circuit.One of the rubber feet has come off in only a few days, possibly due to weak adhesive, but this hasn't affected its performance. I would also think the pad would be a little small for a 17" laptop, as my 15.6" just about fits on it. It would be very close.In conclusion, I find this an excellent purchase if you are having cooling issues which a laptop clean/compressed air doesn't solve. Excellent work TeckNet.

I bought this fan tray to cool my 17" laptop while using Skype and Zoom because the internal laptop fan was so noisy and could clearly be heard by other call participants.The fan tray works well and is lovely and quiet, making only a subtle air blowing noise which is much quieter than my laptop fan. The adjustable fan speed means that you can turn it up & down as required.The Blue LEDs add a nice bit of "Bling" however these are not visible when using a 17" laptop which completely covers the whole tray.My only gripe is that after a week the unit failed to turn on at all. I quickly located the problem which was due to the power switch (which is incorporated into the fan speed adjustment wheel). This component is rather poor quality and lets the whole fan tray down. I was able to bypass the switch to make the fan tray operational again however I no longer have the On/off function which is disappointing.I would recommend this product which definitely cools my laptop well, however be prepared to have to open it up and fix the thumbwheel power switch.

Really good, it has multiple fans compared to my last one so it has kept my laptop cool!

Bought this as present for other half who was having regular issues with a new lap top overheating and crashing. Since using this, problem solved. So far works well whether on the desk or more casually on the lap.This isn't a good looking gadget, but importantly, it does what it has been designed to do. Would buy again as also value for money when compared with such a vast amount of altenatives.All of that said, have no idea how it would perform for gaming, as it is used for work purposes.

Great product, fan noise is relatively quiet, it;s light wight and does exactly what it is meant for. Added bonus, customer service and after sales are second to none, brilliant customer care and resolved the issue within two days. The On/off switch stopped working contacted Customer support and having sent them a quick video to highlight the problem they sent a new replacement out within a couple of days. Can highly recommend this company and product.

Buona base per il notebook. Scelta dopo una lunga valutazione tra tante. Questa mi ha convinto per il suo design che mi era subito sembrato più stabile rispetto ai modelli che si possono rialzare e che, per esperienza trovo, per il mio uso, troppo delicati. Utilizzo il notebook sul divano appoggiato sopra alle gambe e questo modello mi permette di continuare ad usarlo in questo modo.Sul davanti ha un'aletta per bloccare il PC e non farlo scivolare.La presa USB extra non ha funzionato con tutti i dispositivi, una pendrive non è stata riconosciuta, tutte le altre si.Ho scelto un modello con più ventole e devo dire che ne sono contenta. Ho un vecchio notebook sul quale non si avvia più la sua ventola, quindi con notevoli problemi di surriscaldamento. Le ventole raffreddano bene e il note non si è più surriscaldato. Tenendolo sulle ginocchia l'aria si sente al limite del fastidio, ma penso che sarà molto piacevole durante l'estate.Il rumore è davvero minimo e non fastidioso.Spero che continui a funzionare, per ora ottimo acquisto, consigliatissimo.

kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Sehr leise im Betrieb und der zusätzliche USB Anschluss kann sich sehen lassen. Nachteil: Vom blauen Licht an den Kühlern sieht man so gut wie nix. Kühlt mein Laptop und der Verbrauch ist auch minimal. Fazit: Alles bestens. Lieferung OK.

J'ai passé commande du modèle TeckNet 360° modèle N2 ainsi que du modèle de "base" TeckNet 14cm (https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B00P04WFZ4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Je suis ravi de ces 2 achats.Dans les 2 cas les matériaux sont légers (plastique) mais très solides. La barre de soutien pour maintenir les différents angles est quant à elle en métal de couleur noir. Toujours concernant ces 2 modèles les ventilateurs sont relativement silencieux. Un ronronnement régulier tirant plus vers les graves que vers les aigus. On peut comparer le bruit à un disque dur externe Toshiba Canvio ou Western Digital Element. Mais on est extrêmement loin du bruit de séchoir je rassure. Je suis très sensible au bruit, surtout de part mon activité professionnelle (écrivain). Je suis également un bon geek hardware/ software et je sais reconnaitre du matériel de qualité ou cheap. Celui-ci est de très bonne facture.J'utilise le TeckNet n12 pour un macbook pro late 2008, les encoches de soutien sont piles poiles comme il faut.J'utilise le TeckNet de base (un ventilateur) pour un Asus N56VZ, les encoches sont plus grandes que le TechNet n12 et c'est tant mieux car l'épaisseur de l'Asus est plus grande que celle du macbook pro, ces encoches sont également d'une taille idéale pour ce modèle d'ordinateur.Une fois les ordi posés sur les plateaux de refroidissement on ne voit pas du tout la lumière (émise par les diodes présentes derrière les ventilateurs) ni dessous ni sur les cotés. Impeccable donc pour les travailleurs de la nuit ou souhaitant garder un environnement de travail discret.Les ventilateurs (3 moyens pour le techNet n12 et 1 grand pour le TechNet de base) sont efficaces je gagne au moins 3 degrés dans les 2 cas. Pas de différence entre les 2 modèles TechNet coté gain de température (en tout cas avec mes ordinateurs).Je recommande vivement!

Funciona bien. Dimensiones correctas. Lo único que eleva mucho el portatil y para escribir es incómodo. Pero imagino que esto es mejor así.Parece que rebaja algo la temperatura y va algo mejor mi máquina. No suena casi nada... Bien... Pero tampoco ha hecho mucho calor todavía.

Utilizzando programmi di modellazione 3D e di render avevo bisogno di un supporto di raffreddamento. Ottimo prodotto, rumore molto basso non fastidioso nonstante siano 5 ventole. Aiutano molto con l'abbassamento delle temperature. Lo uso tutti i gironi per almeno 7 ore da 1 anno ormai e non fa una piega, ancora perfetto, poi è leggerissimo quindi comodo anche da trasportare.
