What Animals Do in the Winter (Discovery Readers) Paperback – July 1, 2002

Love this book and the explanation for why animals hibernate. It complimented a story in our language arts series.

Happy librarian - needed book found here! Hope the teachers and students are happy with them, too! The only downside is that I must catalogue them myself, but it is worth the time and effort to be able to get materials not available elsewhere at these prices!

Very long Book.

Informative. Good condition.

As a teacher, good books are important to us. We want to make sure that the intentions of the books meet the children needs and interest. This book gave us detail material in relation with our unit of study. Very easy to read, very easy for the children to look at on their own.

My Japanese preschool students liked this book.

Timely and just right.

My grandson wanted to know what the animals do in thr wintr to stay warm -- we live in northern Wisconsin. He was especially interested inthe deer. He is 8 years old and very concerned about them. This book talked about reindeer. it didn't answer his question. I guess I'll stick to the computer to give us answers we are looking for
