I picked up the Proster Alligator Clips Test Leads to check out my car’s electronics, and they turned out to be exactly what I needed. The length was just right for reaching everything without any hassle. The alligator clips have a strong grip, so they stay put, and the wire feels solid and durable. Did just what i needed them for which was to use them with my car battery charger so I could charge it with the main unit inside the garage.

I use these with my bench power supply and multimeter for various tasks and they work well, The outer braided sheath feels like nylon and the way they bend makes me think there's silicone between the sheath and conductor. They insert easily into all of my banana jacks, and my other banana plugs plug easily into the stacking port. It would be nice if the alligator jaws were fully insulated, but I can't really complain since the product photos accurately depict everything.

Design: The design of the Proster Banana to Alligator Clip - Test Leads is very good with the leads being easy to handle and also having plug inserts to protect the lead inserts when not in use. Lead quality: The Proster Banana to Alligator Clip - Test Leads are very easy to use and seem a little thicker than the test leads I have been using for over 20 years. These leads don't seem prone to getting tangled together as well. Functionality: Using the Proster Banana to Alligator Clip - Test Leads replacements for a Tektronix (Tek DMM 155), the leads are a perfect match to the meter input sockets. The Alligator Clip leads are extremely handy for "hands free" measurements as well. Value for money: I've looked at a variety of test leads for comparison of price, and the Proster Banana to Alligator Clip - Test Leads with the addition of the Alligator Clips make them a very good price point, quite a bit less than similar test leads without the Alligator Clips. I would recommend the Proster Banana to Alligator Clip - Test Leads to anyone else needing test leads, or even an extra set, not only for the quality, but for the addition of the Alligator Clip feature. Easy hookup, clips hold very well. Cords are pretty long too which help if you're not on a bench and need some extra length.
