It worked for me.
I'm 5'10" 190 lbs size 11 shoe. I know I am 10 lbs heavy and older in my 60s but was surprised at the pain I got in my left heel on a longer walk in my favorite nike lunarglide 9 running shoes that may be lightweight but had never given me trouble before.I went to a more supportive newer asics and it helped but just didn't seem to allow proper healing for two months. The pain had me limping a bit randomly with no way of me being to understand why one day ok and the next day not. I ordered these insoles and decided to put them in the original lunarglides. I immediately noticed an upward pressure on my left arch and thought that interesting. In a couple of days I didn't feel the upward pressure on the left arch anymore and the pain in my heel was lessening. Today is 13 days since I first used the insoles and I just realized its pretty much solved the problem. I'm of the belief that my left arch needed support and that was the main issue. I'm not a podiatrist but it felt to me that my foot was out of alignment if that makes sense. These insoles must be made of some special plastic because they are pretty sturdy and give very strong support for how thin they look and feel. They allow my nikes to feel like they should too which is a bonus. Best $30 I have spent this year.

They really work!!!
Finally, a relief from shin splints and heal pain! I have used heal cups and other manufacturers inserts with minimal success. After a hip replacement and new round of shin splints, I started looking for a better product and decided to try Samurai Insoles Ninjas Plantar Fasciitis Relief Insoles. They are incredible! I worked in the garden for hours with no issues. I now wear them in all my closed toe shoes and will definitely buy more. Since I have had such success with the Ninjas, I am going to try other Samurai styles as well.

Let's Call Them Comfortably Uncomfortable
Every shoe is different, and I have found no one iteration of any of these products works universally for all of my shoes. For instance, if you have insoles glued in, these obviously won't work. Also, some shoes have thin insoles and rely on the sole of the shoe for the bulk of shock absorption while other shoes offer a more substantially padded insole. Because these inserts are hard plastic, a well-padded insole will be considerably more comfortable. They will feel mildly uncomfortable, like you feel when you're stretching sore muscles, because that is what needs to happen to heal up; you need to stretch these soft tissues. But, I find that I can wear these all day, and my feet don't become fatigued. Also, if you spend any time on a ladder, the hard plastic shank does wonders for keeping feet from becoming fatigued. The 3/4-length design means that you don't have to try to cut them to fit your size of shoe. The little Velcro pads mean that the insole NEVER slips out of place. I now have two sets of these; one for a pair of Addidas athletic shoes and one for a pair of Columbia hiking shoes. Both are well suited to these insole inserts.

Iffy
They work really well in one pair of shoes. I tried them in a different pair that I wear to work in and they did not help at all. I am not sure how to rate the experience other than dissatisfied. I love the feel okay in my recreational shoes, but I need relief most when I am at work. So I am still trying to find my miracle insole.

Solved my foot issues within a couple walks
I have many foot/ankle injuries and issues. I have tried every insole, shoe brand/model on Amazon and returned them all with great disappointment. My left foot is worse than my right with tailor bunion developing as well as plantar.Any shoe I have or tried was killing my feet while walking my dog. I was getting desperate not being able to find a shoe or insole that would help.I ran across these Samurai's and got the 11-11.5. They are like my old orthotics from 30 years ago but flexible. The flex is nice, not too rigid. I placed them in my NB V8s and within 2 walks I had absolutely no pain in either foot. Yes they slid a little (didn't use the tape) but being able to walk without pain overshadowed any little slide. Tried them in Brooks Ghost 15 and Xero Prio (less sliding) and they transformed the shoe to wearable again. Well worth the $29.I recommend some grippy texture built in the bottom/top instead of tape to alleviate the sliding concern for future versions. Maybe a little wider would be nice. Other than that thank you for making these!!!Now I can enjoy walking my dog!!

Perfect
If you have high insteps and no room for your orthotics, these are great. They’re very thin but strong and will give support to your feet.Great in Blundstone boots, I wish I’d found them sooner.

Disappointing
I have planters fasciitis, which if you have or ever had it you know how painful it is. This product is just two pieces of hard shaped plastic that is supposed to slip underneath your existing shoes insole. Really? In my opinion don’t bother with these. Fortunately Amazon took my purchase back.
