Do not use the blue cleaner with an impact driver - use it only with a drill. The body is aluminum - an impact driver will tear it up. Works great with a drill. Has a replaceable brush - very nice feature.

I'm not a pro plumber, but a do all my household needs myself guy. I'd hadda a 1/2" copper pipe comin outa my foundation in the garage to feed an external hose faucet. Welp, it was maybe an inch away from the wall, and painted, so after installing it in my drill it only took maybe 5 seconds,on low speed, to clean the pipe really,really clean enough to install a new shark bite valve. NO leakage. Also purchased the 3/4 size for those "just in case but ready for it jobs" very happy, seems it should last for sometime. Very happy with my purchase!

If you have to clean 3/4" copper pipes this will help. Fast and fun. Unlike the plastic ones, it's solid metal and works. For the brush, you can always cut the handle off of a cheap brush and put it in a drill.If you have 2 drills the cleaning goes even faster.

Sizes are limited to 3/4” and 1/2” but this little tool on a 1/4” chuck drill shaved 3-4 hours off of a 12 hour copper job. Sand clothing is needed in some respect like for chiggers on the pipe wall like foundry markings or scratches. Best for new copper pipe. Make sure to buy replacements strips and have some ring snap pliers. Highly recommend. I call it the arthritis saver.

Well-made and works well, however, it would be GREAT if they made it slightly longer. It cleans about 7/8 inches of pipe. Push-connect pipe fittings (such as SharkBites), which are now sold everywhere and used almost exclusively for residential fitting replacements, require either 15/16 or 1 inch of pipe to be cleaned. Therefore, I have to manually sand the remaining 1/8 inch of pipe manually when installing these fittings, which somewhat defeats the purpose of having this tool.

I only received a 3/4” kit the 1” and 1/2” kits are not in the package I returned the brush kit and ordered a new three brush kit and all three brushes were delivered

Does the job wonderfully for any DIY weekend warrior or seasoned plumber.

The bit attachment snapped in half first use on the 1". Not worth it for the price, may as well have just gotten the hand ones that are way cheaper.
