Great sushi knife that won't break the bank
I've only been using this knife for a couple of days, but having already cut over 100 kilos of fish with it, I can say that the knife is extremely sharp straight out of the box, it is well-built and of good quality. I am still yet to sharpen it in the near future, but I am sure it will hold its edge well. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you are on a budget and want to practice your sharpening skills.

Incredibly sharp and beautifully balanced. Feels quality from the moment you open the box
This is an intimidatingly wonderful knife that seems to be cutting things even when it's just laid in its box!The rosewood handle feels lovely in the hand, and the superbly balanced knife is extremely comfortable. The knife absolutely glides through salmon, tuna, beef - in fact, any firm fleshed meat can be sliced absolutely wafer thin if so desired. The knife seems expensive at just under £68 but when you look around, it is quite normal to see knives of this quality on sale at over £200, so (silly as it sounds) it is actually quite reasonably priced! If you want a superbly designed and honed kitchen tool, this one can be recommended

It's OK for the price
Let me make it clear that this is not a bad knife. For the price you pay for this knife it is OK. If you've ever handled, used or owned a proper Japanese knife you'll know that this is nowhere near the same standard or quality.
