Synthetic Wig Shampoo

I’ve been a daily wig wearer for many years. I need to have higher-end synthetic wigs because I wear them morning to night, every day, and I am very hard on them. I was hesitant to try a new wig shampoo from a brand I’d not heard of before. I admit I tried this on a wig I’m ready to replace, just in case I didn’t like the results. The results were great! This shampoo effectively cleaned my wig, cap, and lace and the wig kept it’s color, shape, and body. I actually liked some things better about this shampoo than the name brand I’ve been buying. First, this shampoo is pretty runny, so it mixed very well with cold water and produced just a few suds. Also, it has a nice, very light fruity scent. I know you aren’t supposed to rub your wig while washing, but I did take a little bit of this shampoo and rubbed it into the lace before soaking, to get off the makeup and wig glue. It worked like a charm! I’d get this again.

When received, the bottle clearly had spilled and only had a 1/4 of a teaspoon left of product. There was not enough to appropriately use it so I cannot give you much of a review on how it performs. At most, I can say is from the little that I received the shampoo smelt like a pleasant hand soap and had a very watery consistency. Unfortunately I don’t know how this reacts to synthetic hair or how long it’ll last you if you receive a full bottle.

I use so many wigs. They're my daily wigs, so they can get pretty dirty. I love them all, so even if they're synthetic, I try to use them for years. This shampoo helps me keep my wigs fresh. My wigs look almost as good as new.

Loved the smell that remained in the pouch but as there was no product (not even a puddle), I cannot rate that, just the way I received it.

Smells wonderful. Works as expected.

I use it to keep my wigs tangle free and preserve their natural state as best as possible. Just need the conditioner. Worth trying if you have wigs and want to keep them clean.

Unfortunately there was about less than half of shampoo remaining due to the top being loose and cracked, but at least I was able to wash two wigs with what was remaining in the bottle. The scent is okay, it doesn't smell too remarkable and reminds me of mineral oil and plastic. It does foam up nicely, and leaves your wigs soft and easy to comb once rinsed out. Actually I liked how it was simply devoid of tangles, and truly does get the hair clean and quickly. One thing I don't like is how it strips quite a bit of color out after a wash, and it's annoying because I use rinses on my wigs. It literally knocked it down three shades! But if you manage to get a full bottle, it does okay as long as they aren't temporarily colored, or pair it with a strong color protectant.
