There really is a lot to like with this rechargeable torch. From the main beam with one press you get a very bright focusable light. It's probably the brightest torch we've had. Two presses give you a dimmer light while a 3rd press gives a flashing white light. A double press gives a very bright "side light" with a 2nd press making that dimmer. The 3rd press takes it to a steady red and the a 4th flashing red.It's quite a big beast of a torch and feels quite heavy in the hand. For some reason I can't really fathom the battery compartment unscrews at both ends (and you do need to put the battery provided in there). The front light is focusable which is good. Above the switch are 4 small blue LEDs which give the charge status. It's charges via USB C which is excellent to me (cable supplied) but not mentioned in the description I think. There is a decent lanyard attached to the base (can be removed).My main reservation concerns the size/weight of this. While this is very powerful I actually have a keyring light - MUCH smaller - which produces almost the same level of light but is far more portable (though no that different in price!). A minor snag is that the side light is great as a work light. However standing this on it's bottom it is not that stable because of the lanyard (which is useful). Minor issues and this is a very good torch if you want something more traditionally torch like and large.

This isn’t the easiest part, and I had to have a few practices.The lights are very strong, and actually hurts the eyes if you catch it at the wrong angle. Practising made me feel a little dizzy. The glare is very strong. This is why it is a super bright 6000 lumens.
