This Digital caliper is excellent for accuracy to a tenth of a milimeter. perfect for sizing general use items, nut's bolt and screw thread thickness or depth. However good it is if you are dealing in thousanths of an inch and measurements require professional Accuracy perhaps an more precise set may be required

After struggling to measure the distance between two bike nuts with a ruler, I gave up and looked around for another method. My mate mentioned Calipers to me so I scoured Amazon for some. These are great value for money, really well made and accurate, made the job of measuring a cinch. You need a set of these in your life. Didn't think it worth spending a huge amount of money on something that I'd only use occasionally and these haven't disappointed.

I bought this product to measure the width of a small cylinder - I needed to measure to three decimal places, however this tool only measures to two decimal places. That was my fault, I should have read the small print. It is made of plastic, so not as robust as one made of metal, but then it is a lot cheaper. If you need a cheap measure to two decimal places then this is for you. It does what it says it does.

A great value measuring tool. It comes with a very good case to protect it in your tool box. Easy to read in metric and imperial. I use it to measure my Bonsai tree trunk so I can keep a eye on how fat it is getting. I'm happy to use it in this environment but not in a engineering environment because it is made of a type of plastic.

I've struggled measuring stuff with a metal ruler for the longest time, and recently needed to size a power supply barrel connector. This caliper popped up on offer with a voucher so decided to try it.I honestly don't know why I didn't get one sooner. I really wish I had now.The measurement was accurate enough for me to the millimetre, and I suspect at this price point that's all people are going to be worried about. As such, I recommend everyone getting one. It works as intended, allowing for quick and accurate sizing of things, both inner and outer measurements.Mine came in a clear plastic case that holds it in place. It's not amazingly strong, so wouldn't just throw it in the tool box, but it does protect it enough that you're not going to damage it just having it laid about with other tools. That being said... mine is in my tool box right now.

Worked really well and the parts printed using this to take measurements fitted perfectly so has really good accuracy. Unfortunately after 4 months developed some faults. The screen doesn’t show any legible measurements, replacing the battery didn’t help and sometimes refuses to even switch on. Has always been kept in the case when not in use. Suffice to say not very durable but for the price works well enough to begin with.

It's a hobby tool rather than an engineering instrument. Good for woodworking, model making etc. Reads to 0.1mm but how accurate this is, I can't say.. Better than my pencil line, knife blade or saw cut for sure - and great value. Comes in a protective case, but where the On/Off Switch is located it's easy to switch it on while closing the case. Recommended.
