I bought multiple sizes and all were a totaly bust. I have normal horses & never had a problem with any other brands. This one sucks.This is just a really weird & awkward fit. For the record, I have owned countless amounts of these type of hoods in numerous brands with no issues like THIS Items has and yes my horses are TOTALY normal.....not some odd ball sized misfits of nature.The sizing they listed is as follows:S - Blanket size 64-70M- Blanket size 72-74L - Blanket size 76-80XL - Blanket size 82-86I bought the first one in a medium per the size chart. For reference she’s 14hh 900lbs and wears an average sized halter & dainty almost arab face. She’s a standard looking cow bred Quarter Horse.The muzzle portion is tight and the rest of the face is awkwardly shaped and loose. The ear & eye holes are seriously out of whack, if you pull the eye holes up to acomidate the ears.... the eye holes cover the eyes, if you pull,them down to the right spot the ears holes are out of alignment. It’s like the face part was made for a yearling.The neck portion is too long and a parts are too loose where other parts are too tight.Now when you get to the strap that goes around the chest it literally is 6 feet long and has Velcro ONLY on the very ends making it impossible to adjust unless you tie it in a knot! If you Velcro it together using what’s there it hangs down past the knees totally useless. The second my horse put her head down to graze, the whole thing slipped down the neck to her head & in only seconds it was completely off.Tried the large and was expecting the face to be looser & it wasn’t it was just as tight and odd and the rest was WAY too big.The zipper is well made and heavy duty and the fabric is nice.... the whole thing is really well made EXCEPT for the measurements. Too bad because I would of bought dozens and dozens of these as we have a couple hundred head on the ranch and 25-50 in training and showing at any given time.Returning them and sticking with the other brands.

I bought this when my horse began loosing her mane. I thought is was from another horse "grooming". This was very easy to put on (it helps to have a Method trained horse) and accomplished what I intended. It also doubles to prevent biting flies. Extatically please overall with this product.

First off, most slinkies are $60+. This one is almost half the price and its still good quality. I was afraid the extra large was going to be too big on my guy since he normally wears a large but it fits perfect. The zipper is nice and the large eye holes are always appreciated. The velcro feels nice and the material is awesome. Would buy again. Hes currently using it to wear throughout the winter.

this hood did not come with amy original pkging. they appear to b buying in bulk and putting on a simple tag inside a bag. knockoff i also had to pay 2.60 since they were short on postage

Zipper is very hard to use. We have only used twice and I am not sure it will last more than one or two more times.
