Quilters beware - the material is described as cotton but this is polyester!

The fabric is some sort of thin synthetic. Couldn’t use it for the product I had in mind but I did use it. Would love quality cotton in this pattern. The colors are amazing.

It seems to be a kind of ripstop material, spot clean only, although it is not waterproof. I would not use it for anything other than some sort of craft object, maybe a little change purse or a display only stuffed figure or doll attire. Because it's a printed synthetic material do NOT let a child put it in their mouth, there's no telling what's in it, really.It's unfortunate that the manufacturing is so poor, the images used are really a flashback to my 60s childhood, which is why I bought it. I thought the image repeat would be smaller, but, as is, I might be able to use it in framing family or art photos, either as a background to mount the photo on, or as a wrap on the photo frame. I'm just brainstorming, really, on how to salvage the fabric because I like the prints.

Not cotton! Some kind of polyester.

NOT cotton! Shiny, cheap looking polyester. Not a fabric for quilting, though they advertised it that way. Folded neatly though.Returning it now.

I used the fabric in a quilt sqaure and the fabric melted when pressing the seams at a low temp. So beware.
