Disney The Little Mermaid My Busy Books - Storybook, 10 figurines, playmat

I ran across this book in a discount store several months ago and purchased it for my 4 year old granddaughter. She played and played with it! The story is just a few pages long with big pretty pictures. At the end of the book is a compartment that holds a thick, glossy playmat with 4 different scenes from the story and it has all the little figurines as well, made of plastic. She would arrange and rearrange them on the mat and sing songs from the movie! She took it home with her and they moved just about 30 min away and somehow her book got lost. She asked about it all the time so I ordered her another one for Christmas. When she opened it she squealed and said, “You found my book!!!” Ha ha

Great gift. My cousin loves it.

Busy books are a big hit in my classroom, so I was excited to see so many options when I looked into buying some for my own child. They are durable enough to survive multiple years of multiple children and the pieces are just the right size for little hands. Great way to extend a story and/or use pieces to tell the story.

Like all the others, this busy book is fantastic. My 3 year old granddaughter loves it and plays with it every day.

These worked out great for the centerpieces for my baby’s first birthday! Perfect size and amount for what I needed. And on the plus side it is a book so she gets to keep it! Win-win in my book!

My toddler grandkids LOVE to play with these figurines - especially when they have seen the characters in a Disney movie or other series. I have purchased 14 of these books just for that! The story line in the book is unappealing in most and basically just highlight each character's name and character information. After trying to find these characters for a reasonable price elsewhere, I found these books that have the figurines and a playmat for each story.

This is the cutest idea. A book and figures together!
