the chickens do not use this as it says they will. They wouldn't go near it. I opened the lid and filled it with food then put a weight on the treadle to open it, eventually they began to feed from the sides, they would not go onto the treadle. I tried putting a tin of beans on it so it was half open so they could see the food. They tried to eat from the ends again until the lid fully opened then they squawked and flapped away. Now i have to open it every morning and go down to close it at night and they will still only eat from the sides. Unless you have time to train your chickens in some manner i would not recommend this feeder.

Could to to have anchor points to stop it moving or blown over

Le produit est très bien, néanmoins il faut mettre une cale en bois au niveau de la pédale en position mangeoire ouverte, de façon à ce que les poules aient un point d'appui stable. Sans la cale bois les pattes des poules sont un peu loin de la mangeoire, donc instabilité pour manger.
