The box was good though the cases for the dvds weren't the best. Can't wait to watch them.

Nice pack ,most common Kubrick films , nice to sit down and watch

Spartacus is about a roman solider rebelling against the roman army, a 4/5 It's a drama film with some action scenes in it and focuses a lot on the characters. 2001 a space odyssey is a slow moving film that doesn't feature much dialogue and seems to follow these astronauts' in the film , it's not a early version of star wars. 1/5 . This is not really a science- fiction film either. Clockwork orange - is about a group of bad men in it lead by a main character and get up to all sorts of bad things in this film , the film itself remained very controversial for a number of years after it's release. Don't go expecting much action scenes in that one though. 3/5 The shining is about this guy trapped in a hotel the film itself follows the main character in it played by Jack Nicholson , it's supposed to be a horror film , although it's a different type of horror in it. 3 /5 Full Metal Jacket , follows a group of American soldiers who they train up and they get sent to Vietnam in the later half of the film, the first half of the film itself is very character driven and you see the whole training process the Army men go through. It's got some good action scenes in that one. It came out in the late 1980s so it was when the Vietnam war was fresh in people's minds and was amongst the last Vietnam war film's to be released from that era. 4/5 I would advise people under the age of 25 to watch this boxset as it's a mixture of older films.

An excellent box set. Four fantastic films,of which id never seen any of them before. I particularly enjoyed A clockwork orange,very disturbing I can see why it was banned,The shining was very good too- I can see why it's such a classic. Good value set,would recommend!

The movies came in good condition, I still didn't watch them so I would have to update after watching.

Now there’s a warning that these DVDs aren’t compatible with Canadian DVD players but when we purchased there was no warning! Requested refund but they want us to pay shipping g to the UK to return it which will cost just as much...🙄

Great picture and sound on all the old movies

Nice set. Shipped from Australia, the box has Europe ratings, and one of the discs is labeled in French, but they appear to be region free and play fine in my US player, which is all that really matters. Commentary audio tracks are a plus.
