So ... pretty obvious what this is based on. There's a pop filter on the market that is sold for around a hundred dollars, which is a lot of money for a simple clamp, a goose neck and a foam disk. It's no surprise that some enterprising smartypants came along and decided to copy this pop filter. The big question on everybody's mind, obviously, is: does it deliver the same quality? I feel about 60% competent to answer this question. Meaning, with my ears, which are by no means golden, and my equipment (some nice LDC mics, an Apollo interface and very nice studio monitors), I don't hear any coloration. The hardware on this thing is not top notch, but totally fine, I've seen worse quality on more expensive pop filters. With moderate use, there's no reason to think this won't survive for years. They include a replacement foam disk, which is nice, because after certain singers have unloaded their musical emotions, yours might require a trip to the washing machine. It's absolutely possible that some genius out there will call my assessment stupid, and claim that this thing murders sound worse than the music business murders your soul. But remember that listening is very subjective, and the subtleties, if they indeed exist, are in an area I for one can't detect. What I find very easy to detect are plosives that ruin a take.

When I figured out the foam is basically aquarium filter, I was completely turned off from buying the name brand… I was going to make my own and ran into this option. I’d say pretty close to perfect for the price. Would be nice if it was a bit longer or more bendable but overall, a good buy over so many other pop filter options

I've only tested it a couple times since I purchased but this pop filter seems to do a great job and comes with a spare sponge filter.

Fantabbytosie! Works like a charm. I’m a heavy plosive guy so I still require a double filter set-up BUT it takes up less soace in my face too and it’s functional so All I can say is I recommend this lil fella!

This is a terrific pop filter, it's washable so you can keep it fresh and it's a good value. The flexible goose neck is sturdy and the clamp fits all my mic stands. I've had many pop filters over the years, but I like this one the best. The size is big enough for blocking the pops and plosives but you can still see (and be seen) when using it. Recommended!
