Great item easy to set up

Ease of installing used in my workshop.

As briefly mentioned, connect all earth wire screw terminals together with a flying lead as the terminals are not internally connected unlike most mains sockets. Unfortunately the cable glands that close off unused cable accesses holes fall out with the slightest of touch and need to be held in place with glue to maintain its 'ip66 rating'!!! The manual that come with the unit is extremely bad. Has no reference to wiring at all. If you choose to buy this item expect to look for general outdoor socket installation videos.

Luckily I asked an electrician to fit this and after it was fitted he tested it and one side was showing as not earthed even though it was so he had to add a link from one earth to the other to make it work safely.

it says in the wiring instructions say that the connectors are coloured to help, but there is no colours or markings so you cannot tell which is live,neutral or earth
