On the thin side/Supplement only
This is a good product and very clearly laid out with good explanations. It’s mastery, not spiral, which can be refreshing. However, it’s good as a supplement or for a child who needs almost no practice. Not enough repetition for the average or struggling student. (Fairly thin book...check out the page count.) I’m using as a supplement.

Perfect addition to our nightly homework routine. Easy to follow and the colored pictures make it more attractive to my 8 year old.

A great supplemental math book
I bought this math book to use this year homeschooling my daughter for third grade. What I love about this math book is the instruction is clear and easy for her to understand. What I don’t love is there’s not enough practice of the lessons once they are covered. I attached a picture to show what I mean. Just one practice question? Not really enough for me. That said, I used this book along with grade 3 Spectrum Math, and that’s a perfect combo. The spectrum math book has the opposite issue—an adequate amount of practice between lessons, but minimal instruction. That worked for some lessons, but the ones she didn’t get immediately, we had to switch over to this one for better coverage of the concepts, then back over to Spectrum (her main math book) for the practice before we moved on to the next concept.

Homeschooling mom
I use this book for my kiddos homeschooling and it’s absolutely amazing. It follows the guidelines for the state of Texas and so easy to cover the necessary topics for their grade level. Most definitely a must for homeschooling or just as extra work for the kiddos to stay engaged during school breaks.

This is a very good math workbook. Great for homeschooling. It is very clear and has great information. Step by step when learning math. It is also great for self learning. I purchased this for my daughter and it worked well. It could be a little more difficult, but overall it is great!
