I owned at least 3 other RO systems, and this one is the best. It's design pros are:1) The filtered water reservoir is the kettle itself, not in a container inside the system which is impossible to clean (or to inspect if it needs cleaning).2) Its kettle is more convenient than a stand-alone kettle: you can set temperatures.3) Pure:drain ratio (4:1) is great, one of the best in the market.4) Its small size -- all others took so much space on my counter top, but this one is small enough. It doesn't provide as much purified water at a time, however can you really drink more than 0.8L water at once? I can just press the button again when the kettle is empty, the water will be ready for me the next time I want to drink it.5) Not in the description, but while the RO is working and dripping water into the kettle, the moment you lift the kettle, it stops dripping immediately. I've done this many times, never got a single drop of water outside of the kettle.I've been using this through the whole winter, provided me with hot/warm water every day.Customer service is very responsive as well, trustworthy.The only feature that I wish it could have is to have a timer for the temperature, e.g. to boil a pot of tea for 12 minutes. Then this can fully replace fancy tea kettles.Another nice to have would be to preset time, e.g. filter water at 7am (so that I can have a fresh pot of water when I wake up), but actually filtering is so quick, I can just press the button and brush my teeth etc, then the water will be ready for me.

We bought this and have had it a year. because my husband needs to be able to run it, as he is Blind, it’s easy to turn on as the button is right in the middle front. Picking up the carafe it auto stops. Easy for me to clean and troubleshoot. Water tastes great! Filters last!Not too big, plenty of water.A little slow on draining into carafe, but we just start it when done with and it’s ready for next person.With a pull out faucet, easily loads water. We keep it right by sink. The heat feature is nice but hardly use. Refilering it is easy. Well made.Once in a while it will seem to stop. Just pick up the carafe, and set down. Or unplug for 30 seconds and it’s ready to go. Just needed a reset.Would definitely buy again!

We bought this about 1 year ago. It worked well for about 6 months then became very slow to drain and only would drain about 1/3 of a carafe. Finally, I decided to change the filters thinking they were possibly clogged. There are no filters available anywhere for this machine and now it is currently listed as unavailable on Amazon including the filters. It is now officially useless and an extreme waste of money. I went to the company's website, and they don't even sell this anymore. Buyer beware of this machine.

I spent a lot of time searching for a reverse osmosis machine. I didn’t want one that was big and that took up too much space on my counter. I also compared prices on replacement filter cartridges and how long the filters lasted. Since I live alone, I didn’t need a machine that held a lot of water. I finally decided on this machine, and I have been very happy with it. I wanted to use R/O water in my cat fountain and coffee maker to avoid hard water deposits even though I have a water softener that does not completely eliminate them. I got so tired of having to constantly clean the deposits and ruining appliances because of the hard water. I had also used softened water in my humidifier and after having my house and the inside of my furnace covered with a fine white dust, I learned what an awful mistake that was. Now, I use only the R/O water in those items, and I don’t have problems anymore. Of course, the water that is produced is wonderful for drinking as well. I also took the advice of another reviewer and put small adhesive backed caster wheels on the bottom of the appliance and it rolls beautifully across the counter making removing the tank on the back to refill much easier. I test the water on a regular basis with a TDS meter and it usually reads about 19. I have not had to replace the filters yet. I am very satisfied with this machine, and I highly recommend this is for a 1–2-person family.

I purchased this for our RV. We were packing gallon jugs of water each time we went camping. Campground water is usually gross (chemical tasting).The water this filter produces is AMAZING! In addition to the good water quality, it cones out quickly! It will filter 0.8 L in 20-30 seconds. The reservoir holds 3.5 L and produces a total of about 2 L.To heat water, you can choose different temps. It does not dispense hot water, but can heat the filtered water. Boiling 1 pitcher takes about 1 minute.Our RV has a fairly small countertop, so I specifically looked for the smallest RO dispenser with options for heating. I’m super impressed that I could find a unit that matches my size needs AND produces such delicious water so fast!One more thing, it’s simple to use—just fill the tank and push a button!

***UPDATE*** I had an issue with my machine and reached out to customer service. I had a response within 24 hours and the customer service rep went above and beyond to make me a very satisfied customer. Thank you for standing behind your products as I don’t know what we would have done in Florida without it.We are going to be in Florida for a 4 month contract and staying in corporate housing. We have a whole house water filtration system at home but obviously can’t take that with us so this was our solution for drinking water. It sets up very quickly, dispenses water quickly that tastes exactly as it should, like nothing and it is very easy to clean. We add our trace minerals drops to our water for an added health benefit and it will eliminate the need for any plastic water bottles. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase and I have recommended to friends in housing where whole house systems are not possible. Very very happy with our purchase.
