I use this now instead of brown sugar. Can be a little lumpy but I still works fine and tastes great.

It tastes pure and minimally processed without any fillers. It is probably organic but the USDA seal costs a lot of money. I would rather get this high quality jaggery for less.This jaggery is just raw unprocessed cane sugar so you can't expect perfect sifted powder - it will cost more. For those of you who are of Hispanic descent - this is basically Panela powder.Because of the minimal processing it retains many minerals that are removed to make white sugar.I Love it in my morning coffee- so good. can also sprinkle it on top of buttered toast along with a sprinkle of cinnamon! Yum!! Enjoy!

I love jaggery for its medicinal qualities and use it as my primary source of sugar.Bummed it hasn’t been added to approved EBT list yet.Make sure it’s not melted from being in a hot van or delivered and left in the sun, it will get clumpy if it is, but Amazon is good with exchanges.

This is not organic as shown in the picture or described. It's not organic. The bag also had caked sugar on it, as if it had been made in a dirty facility. It's a food item so Amazon will not allow returns, but their Customer Service gave me a refund. I would not trust this brand.

I learned about Jaggery from a guru named Sadhguru, I was buying jaggery from the Indian store, but my husband pointed out to me that the way it was made had some chemicals that were not healthy, (sulfites) it was not an organically made product, knowing that jaggery is a healthy sweetener, in moderation, I did some research and found that the way this product is made organically is much better and does not contain the chemicals that are in the non organic jaggery, love this product, will purchase again.

Good quality powdered jaggery

Rich flavor, good for chewy moist, cookies. It's a lot like dark brown sugar. It's in powdered form which is a little easier to measure out. Though I love the blocks of jaggery as well.
