Pride and family
I found this first story to be a great read. Family is everything to most of us. I look forward to seeing the second book. Make it happen soon

4HU Mil SciFi at its Best!!
Could not put this down!! Both old and new 4HU fans will love this story. It's got it all - action, adventure, and best of all, heart. The Lyon roars into the 4HU universe in style, and I can't wait to see where the Phoenix Initiative takes us next!!

Not what I expected, it was far better than that!
I’m a so so fan of the Four Horseman Universe. Some of it is really good, and some not so much so. This is one of the really good ones.

This will give you a new perspective on logistics.
This was an unexpected and really good story. Competence and ineptitude side by side. Experience is the best teacher, but a hard one. If you're going into any business venture, you need to have a good idea of what you're getting into. The Lyon has a lot to learn. He's smart but impulsive, has good instincts but inexperience, but he's loyal and stubborn to a fault. He's going to need that along with some luck to save his people. He might even persuade some people to help him along the way. He's going to need that along with his knowledge of logistics and his business savvy to help him get out of some tough situations. He needs all the help he can get, because he hasn't thought of everything and his overlooking something important might cost him more than he ever thought about. There appears to be plenty of material for future novels and stories, and I hope the authors have more planned.

Slow start but excellent read for filling in the blanks in the Four Horseman universe
I was ready to give up on this book. It seemed to be another one off book about yet another sidekick character. Without giving away any of the plot twists, it was an excellent story about how things have progress in the Horseman universe.

A good read.
I wasn't impressed with the MC at first because he was such an impulsive Idiot with more money than brains, and ended up getting people killed due to his know-it-all cluelessness. But that was just part of the 'formula' trope to set him up for the rest of the book, which turned into a solid four-plus star read with him redeeming himself.

Take a deadly walk down memory lane.
This is a fun, clever and emotional journey with a lesson about patience, persistance determination and focus. Oh yeah, and love too. Those aliens that worry about Humans? They are quite right to be afraid, but they have no idea how much they underestimate us. Deadly enemies, but even better friends. Soon. Soon.

Vengeance is best served with drinks!
The only thing this book is missing is a dog, although they did throw us a bone by mentioning the Zuul.Kennedy and Wolf have delivered another can't put down, must know what happens next, who needs sleep anyway story. Full of mayhem, action, friendships and more Killer Kitties then you could shake a stick at ( if you were dumb enough to try )What do you do when a Rat takes your family and forces you out of being a Merc. You open a bar of course! You gather information, you make friends, you bid your time. Then you ROAR and strike back!

The Lyons' Tale
Throughout the series the Lyons' Den has been a somewhat secretive merc bar. It was active for a long period of time covering many series and spinnoff anthologies. In this entry we learn the story of the Lyon and what he was up too. With his family in general Peepo's paws he was out of the merc business on pain of his families deaths. But with the omega war won and Peepo dead at the claws of Tsan it's time for the Lyon to hunt. This entry covers over 60 years. I always enjoy a tale where the cats that aren't there show up and get their kill on. Cute furry little murder machines hunting rats. I can see why they were alarmed about Depik and humans teaming up. Looking forward to more.
