Nintendo 3DS - Catalyst Slim Cover 3DS Case

I researched a lot of cases and covers. I decided to go with a cover because I keep my 3DS in my pocket. I am glad that I picked this one. Well constructed and came with two screen protectors. Only drawback is that you are not able to charge on the base with the cover in place.

When it has came down to the Nintendo 3DS, they've had a lot of great accessories made by third-party companies, as well as by Nintendo for themselves. But sometimes, there are less expensive accessories that work just as well. That case is strong for the Nintendo 3DS Catalyst Slim Cover 3DS Case. It honestly doesn't look that bad on the 3DS, but there are less-expensive, even some that are Nintendo approved. There is a silicone black cover that works just as good, but at a cheaper price. Overall, I would suggest you get one of the silicone protective cases from PDP, which Nintendo approves of, which works well at half of the price.Price: CConvience: B-Overall: C 1/2+

A while back I was quite impressed by the Catalyst line of cases I picked up for my DSi and PSPGo, so this was something I knew I had to get when I bought my 3DS. Despite a rather long delay, I'm glad I waited because once again CM4 has delivered a solid product. The case is light weight, a breeze to install, and fits like a glove. The interior is lined with felt which gives me peace of mind that my system won't be scuffed up when the case is removed. One thing to note is that the top around the hinge isn't covered by much, so that area is pretty much unprotected if you drop your system. For me that isn't a big deal because I buy cases to keep my devices clean and free of blemishes, not for drop protection. That aside I am very happy with the case. It feels great in my hands and now I don't have to worry about any nicks and scratches from every day use.

I'd hoped this would protect my son's DS a bit, but after about a month one side kept popping off. my daughter has the same one, and it did the same thing. These should last longer than that. I switched him to a Zagg skin.

This case is perfect. It's in two pieces so the hinge doesn't wear out. It's feels like leather and is soft on the inside - gives me some piece of mind that my system isn't going to get damaged by having it in this case. My ONLY thing about this, and I'm really nit picking here, is that on the bottom piece, the hole for the audio jack isn't really centered. I thought it was going to be a lot bulkier than it is, but it truly is thin (What I wanted). It's not a case that's going to provide protection if you run your DS over with a car, but it protects it from regular wear and tear.But really, this is no doubt the best 3DS case out there. It's worth the price.

This 3ds cover is an excellent product! It protects well while still being slim and sleek. When I first recieve it I thought it might be flimsy but not at all and I love how it feels. It stays on snug without scratching the ds. I received this product a couple months ago and it is holding up very well with 2 small boys. The only thing I don't like is when u push the ds fully open the two small pieces that wrap from the bottom over the back hit the top cover leaving a small impression where they hit. The hinges are not covered the small pieces simply help hold the bottom cover on. Overall I would say I am 100% pleased with this cover.

I have had this case for over a year now: it is the BEST case I have ever had for a Nintendo product, hands down. The feeling of having this case in the hand is superb, and it makes holding the 3DS for several hours of gameplay a lot easier than it would be otherwise. I've never had a case that felt like this one before, and over the course of the last year, I've kept my 3DS in various pockets without any damage or scratches. I am PRAYING one will be made for the 3DSXL....SOON...

I'm very pleased with this cover. It is a little more expensive than most but it has a very sleek look and adds some much needed grip.PROS:-Fits Nicely.-Looks sleek.-Adds almost no weight.-Adds Grip.-Inside is padded.CONS:-Slightly difficult to remove the top cover.-More expensive than most covers.OTHER:-3ds Won't fit on nintendo charge base when cover is on.-Cover has a slight "leathery" look to it as opposed to the traditional plastic / silicon / aluminum look.
