This perlite is finer in texture than what I'm used to but it works very well. Maybe better than the chunkier premium perlite nuggets that comes in tiny bags. My cacti and succulents and tropicals all love it. I ordered two bags not realizing how huge the bags would be. I have enough to amend the heavy clay soil in parts of my garden as well. Great price and delivered to my door. I would order again and recommend!!!

Took a while to ship it to me but it was totally worth the wait! I ordered the extra course I figured that would be too big of chunks but the pieces are actually the perfect size, about what you would expect from perlite. I was more worried that the smaller chunks would be too small. I mixed it with coco coir, and worm castings. My plants love it so far, they've got new roots and some new growth. Wish I would have used more perlite for my monstera plants, but that's for the next report project.

The Super Coarse is size 3, therefore, it is a large perlite. The way I like it. the bag is huge and full. I would buy again if i ran out.

When I saw the photos of the perlite I thought it was mostly course pieces like in the photos. It has a mixture but mostly smaller pieces of perlite. Of course there is a lot, There is a lot of perlite dust, which can't be helped. The overall price is great for this huge bag. It's clean and odor free. I will definitely buy more until a larger size #3 or #4 perlite brand returns to Amazon.

No more bags of dust. This is nice large chunks of perlite that work great for my plants. It is superior in every way from what you pick up at the big box store. I love this material and so do my plants.

This is an ideal product for making your own potting medium. It is a medium grade, so there will be more dust than the coarse grade, but the smaller pieces distribute in a potting mix more evenly and are less likely to float out of your mix as you water your plants compared to the coarse grade perlite that tends to work it's way to the top of your potting material over repeated watering.

I'll wait for this the next time I need to blend coco coir. Their coarse is good, but this super coarse is huge, love it
