As an adult with a 19.75 inch head circumference, I followed the size chart and bought the smaller of the two sizes (XS, 3-6 years). I had to tighten the adjuster to nearly the smallest setting. The hat fits well, and the crown isn't too shallow, as kids hats sometimes can be on adults. It looks decent enough, although the stitching at the bottom of the brim is a little wonky, and about an inch of the sweatband inside the hat was was not attached at all and needed to be sewn back on. The hatband is glued on.

The media could not be loaded.  This (6Y- 9Y Beige) is so pretty, fits beautifully, it doesn’t look cheap at all, actually the quality is great (beyond my expectations) plus the price is very affordable.Im an adult (petit size) and my hat size is (20 inch). I wasted a lot of time searching and buying hats “S”/“M” women size (which usually are between 22” to 26” fit) to end up returning them bc they were so big. So if you have the same problem, this is a great option!I highly recommend this product.

Will buy again in different colors. Sturdy not floppy and good quality. My 3yr old she loves it and wears it every time we go outside. Wide enough brim to shade eyes in sun without it obstructing her view as she runs around in it.

I am a woman with a small head. Woman’s hats fly off my head with the slightest gust of wind. This hat protects me from the sun, looks great and, fits beautifully!

Fits my bigger 4 year old. Can be tightened and has the attachment for the chin.
