Chemotherapy
I use these to prevent chemotherapy side effects in my hands and feet. They stay cold for about 20 minutes, which is perfect because I need to stop icing for 10 minutes in between. I have to ice for 21/2 hours. Extra insert availability is much appreciated.

Cold pad effectiveness
Feet pads stay cold but hand pads warm up too quickly over during my first chemo which lasts 3 1/2 hours so have to use ice packs during last hour or so

Didn't think these would help but they did. I had no problems after last treatment. Wish I had these during my first treatment. Only 4 more to go.

They DO NOT stay cold.
I use these for a chemo treatment to prevent Neuropathy as recommended buy my oncologist. I freeze them for a week. And at therapy, they put them in the freezer. until. time for my treatment. Treatment is about an hour and 15. minutes. They are TOTALLY warm after 40 minutes of putting them on. The nurses have to supplement with ice bags they have.I am very disappointed in this product. I. could not get refund as I was planning ahead and did not use them immediately. Please DO Not buy this brand. They are either defective or poor quality. My advise is look for another brand.
