These batteries have been a great replacement for my old non-working DeWalt NiCad batteries. They last a long time compared to the old batteries. I love the charge indicator on them. The charging time was between 15 minutes and 25 minutes from 1 bar to full charge. They pop right into the tool and charger and just work. I have only had them about a month but used them in my old DeWalt hammer drill and could drill 2-3, 9/16 size holes about 5 inches deep in my concrete patio per charge. Great value for 2 batteries.

I needed replacement batteries for my old DeWalt DC970 drill. I chose this seller because it had a lot of information about these batteries, and included my drill in its list of compatible tools. I’m happy to say the batteries fit in my old charger, and charged up quickly. They also fit in my drill and seem to have plenty of power. I’m very pleased. Recommend.

Do not buy these batteries. Not even worthy of a 1-star rating. Upon receipt of batteries, I checked charge status and both showed ready to go. Tried to use them in right angle Dewalt Grinder and neither would run the tool. Checked the voltage with multimeter. One battery at 20V the second battery with no voltage. Tried to charge second battery in 3 different Dewalt brand chargers and all three chargers flashed blink code for faulty battery/replacement. Both batteries indicate full charge status as pics clearly show. These batteries are for sure much lighter than the old NiCad 18V but also much lighter than the much smaller 20VMAX Lithium-Ion Dewalt DCB205 quality battery I use daily for my other Dewalt tools. A sure sign of low quality. Less than 18 hours from delivery to have these returned to Amazon. Amazon did a great job with the return, refund and I thank them for that. The 1star reviews seem to indicate this being a common issue. Others appear to have better luck. Hopefully this review steers just one person away from this product. I have no issues using the 20V Max Dewalt Battery with the Dewalt DCA 1820 brand adapter in my older 18V Dewalt tools. Do not buy the cheap knock off adapters and batteries. Yes, more cost to buy the actual Dewalt brand, but they work and are reliable. The actual Dewalt DCA adapter protects the tool and battery. The cheap adapters are known to short out and the fit is very poor.

I had bought offbrand batteries for my 18 V Dewalt in the past and they were terrible. They didn’t fit the tool properly and they did not fit the charger properly. They worked, but I was very frustrated. So when it came time to purchase batteries again, I still couldn’t bring myself to pay Dewalt prices, so I did a bunch of research and ended up with these batteries. They fit the tool perfectly and they fit the original charger perfectly. I have been using the first battery on and off for a bit today I used it to scrub a large walk-in shower with a rotary brush, so it got heavy use, and when I was done, it still had two bars of charge. These batteries perform better than the originals! 100% recommend!

Great batteries! Run strong, came charged handy LED power status on unit.

So far these are working great on my DeWalt cordless drills. The only difference I see it that when they are done charging (in the OEM DeWalt base) the done light (solid red with original batteries) does not come on. The light does flash when they're charging, but at the end the flashing light used to to solid red. When these are charged that light goes dark. Not a big deal.
