Just wanted to get this review in for those of you getting a costume for Halloween 2016. Mine just arrived tonight and I ordered size STANDARD. I was a little confused by the sizing options but I went with the Standard size as it seemed like it would work per the measurement chart and it did. I am 5'2", size 10, 36C and the costume fits easily. I can see how size Standard fits a range - since the costume is a few pieces, you can adjust each piece to your shape. It says right on the package, "fits up to size 14/16" and I would agree with that. You can adjust where you wear the skirt (high on waist or low on hips) and blouse and vest are adjustable/elastic. I was a little skeptical when I took it out of the package because it's not much to look at unassembled but I tried it on and I can tell when I have my boots, eye patch, hook...and parrot...that it's going to look awesome. Really fun costume for the price and left me cash to have fun with the accessories.

This costume has four pieces: Bandana, White Shirt, Vest, SkirtThe bandanna is a bright red strip of a velvet-like material. The white shirt is a thin, see-through material so you will most likely want to wear something underneath. The neck and arms have elastic that stretches to fit the width of your arms and chest. The shirt is roomy but it is shorter in length (another reason you might want to wear something underneath). The vest has a string that you lace up in the front and in the back it has two strips of material that you tie to make it fit your size properly. The skirt has two layers of jagged material; black underneath and red/black striped over top. The skirt's waist has elastic that is very stretchy to accommodate different sizes.It is an adult women's one size fits all. I wear a size 0-2 and this was big on me. Even with the vest tied as tight as possible in the front and the back, it was still loose. I would guess it would fit a womens size 8-10 best.There are no boots, jewelry or any other accessories included. It does look cute all put together with gold jewelry, tights and either black or brown boots.

I got myself this costume for a Disney cruise and am so happy with it! The material is lightweight, stretchy without losing its shape, and does not have that horrible fake leather smell that some costumes have. I like that it is cute without being slutty or dowdy. The skirt could be a little shorter, but the waistband is tight enough I can just let it ride up around my ribs and have it shorter that way. It is one size fits all, but it would fit a smaller person better I think - I'm 5'0" and wear a size 4, and while the sleeves and the skirt are a bit long they are not loose. It would be fairly snug on a more average-sized person, but stretchy enough that I think it would still be comfortable. Overall I'm happy with this buy and would recommend it!

i wear a large shirt size for comfort, could wear a medium easily.. pant size about 10 (12 in certain brands) basically 5'3" 160lbs and it fits great! i noted some of the comments state that the shirt wont stay where you put it.. well yes if you move your arms in a normal fashion the sleeves will ride back up your arms onto your shoulders. its a slippery material, try some double sided tape made for clothing (regular might work, but again its a slippery fabric) and as far as getting it to ride low on the chest, put the vest on, lace it up nice and tight then reach under and yank the shirt down. problem solved.. unless you want it well into your cleavage area then try some double sided tape. skit goes over the bottom of the shirt and right up under the edge of the vest (or i just have a short torso.. taller ladies may find that it dosnt work out so well? ) all in all im very happy with this costume and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes the style.

Runs big-- I'm a size 5 or 6 and the bodice was a bit too big for me even when I laced it as tight as it would go. I had problems with the blouse part underneath riding up. I tried pinning the blouse to the skirt, but that just made the skirt ride up, to the point that it was scandalously short.However, with the help of trial and error (and a LOT of safety pins) I did finally get it to fit well and stay in place. I paired it with an aviator hat and goggles, combat boots and some other cool accessories I found to create a steampunk look that went over really well.I gave 4 stars in spite of the fit issues because I've paid a lot more for costumes and not had nearly as much success.

This costume is cute. Material is very thin but I was expecting that and it's on par with other costumes that are more expensive. The only thing I don't like about it is the way the skirt lies under the vest.The way the skirt is sewn to the elastic around the waist makes the fabric poof out in a very unflattering manner around your waist. I was hoping that lacing the vest up nice and tight over the skirt would cause the fabric to lay flat but the vest is just too short and thin to make a difference. Instead the very bottom of the vest Is kind of pushed out by the skirt as well. I'm going to have to figure out a way to get the skirt to lay flat before I wear it on Halloween.Also the elastic on the bottom of one sleeve is tighter than the other so only one sleeve stays pushed up.

I am pretty tall, 6 feet and 145lbs. I knew this costume will be a bit short on me (they always are), but that i could still make it work. So, the skirt was great, it had elastic in the waist and you can wear it higher or lower, which is great. The white shirt had to be tucked in and fortunately for me, it (barely) fit under the skirt! :-) The vest however was too short for me (anyone shorter than me would not have such a problem), but very cute! I made it work by wearing a black simple bustier underneath, which worked visually perfectly and then even the corset worked nicely and the outfit was awesome and very cute! :)

The product fits small but came really fast!!

Ok item for the price. The top is a bit small.
