Good for fine lines and wrinkles
I love this retinol serum. It really helps the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I use it 3 times a week and use my other Ogee products the other days.

If I could give zero stars
I would leave zero stars if I could. Not returnable which is the most frustrating thing about this! I love nearly every product from OGEE and have never had an issue with returning directly to the store front. This feels and applies like Crisco. Caused an insane amount of breakouts—which I am not prone towards. I literally have every other skincare product from this company and decided to add this in the mix. Dissatisfied to say the least. Does not absorb and for the investment—it’s sad that I can’t return. Poor customer service on the sellers part.

My skin loves this product and company. It seems expensive, but worth it on your skin.

Much more effective & economical products exist
I'm in the process of reviewing a few products in the Ogee lineup, and this "natural retinol bakuchiol" serum or elixir (depending on whether the product description here or the product labeling is referenced) is as disappointing as Ogee cleansing cloths, albeit for different reasons. The main reason that the cleansing cloths disappointed me was the inability of Ogee to simply copy-and-paste the same list of ingredients in their product description and product labeling, as I discovered significant inconsistencies. The reason that this serum or elixir disappointed me is probably due to the decision of Ogee to make use of "caprylic/capric triglyceride (from coconut)" as the first ingredient by volume rather than "simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil", which is listed as the second ingredient by volume. As I mentioned in my review for the cleansing cloths, "I've had very positive experiences using jojoba seed oil as an oil-based serum", but the volume of caprylic/capric triglyceride ingredient must be so high as to outweigh the jojoba seed oil, rendering it largely ineffective relative to the part it could have played as the first ingredient. In contrast, I recently tried pure jojoba oil from Yoken, which not only ranks highly as a substitute for oil-based serums, but economically so: $0.94 per ounce compared to $176 per ounce. If it's bakuchiol you're truly after, inexpensive alternatives can be purchased separately and mixed with the aforementioned Yoken product.
