I was nervous that these were going to seem cheap because I got them at such a good price but they look nice and are holding up great!

It works well, easy to fill and can hang on a pole of even from a tree limb. We wanted something to allow us to feed the birds but keep the squirrels from getting into the seed. This works well for most of the smaller birds. The larger ones usually eat the seeds that fall from the feeder on the ground.

for such a cheap price, decent quality. i use one for sunflower seeds and one for peanut pieces, and it works well for both. they've withstood being dropped on the ground a few times, which surprised me because of the thin plastic. if you're looking for something really durable, with a large seed capacity, and/or actually squirrel-proof, invest in a $20-30 feeder that will last you years, but if you are just getting into bird feeding or want to offer a variety of foods without spending a hundred dollars on feeders, this is a pretty good option.p.s.: if a bird feeder isn't attracting birds, it's rarely a problem with the feeder. leaving a one star review for this reason is unnecessary. try using pure seeds like black oil sunflower seeds instead of mixes which usually have lots of filler. make sure your seed is clean, dry, and mold-free. also be patient for a few months as it can take time for birds to find feeders, and what kind of food birds seek out varies by season.

I was looking for new bird feeders because I'm tired of the ones I have always coming apart and the squirrels always getting into them and pulling them apart. I saw these and they looked interesting so I purchased them. I'm so glad I did because I really like them and the birds absolutely love them. They don't come open easily so the squirrels can't get into them and no more accidental spills. They hold a good amount of food and have so many little perches for lots of birds to feast at once. Definitely would recommend these to anyone looking for a great bird feeder that doesn't make a mess and that keeps the squirrels out!

I have nothing negative to say about these feeders. The flock of flycatchers love them, the chickadees love them. The blackbirds like them. It's not that easy for them to feed because they're bigger. The cardinals have not eaten from them at all, but that's fine. I give them food on a slate on the porch, and they forage for all of the droppings. These feeders make a huge mess, but that's okay because I have a bunch of foragers. The porch is in front of my window, so I get to see all of the action. I also have a squirrel who is a pig, so he takes care of the leftovers so the rats don't come.EDITED several months later: They are still in perfect condition. The birds love them.

I haven't seen a diverse group of birds yet, but there is a couple of families who raid this thing multiple times a day. I like how easy it is to hang up, take down, and refill.

It is made of very cheap material, but still giving it four stars since it is easy to use and the low cost.
