Love it, so easy to use

Even reading negative reviews, I thought it might have been people not quite familiar with Arduino programming. It may work with PlatformIO or ESP-IDF. But being a well seasoned programmer for many years. Even using the ES32 the past couple of year, the software for this device is in need of work. They expect you to move files around in various folders and use specific versions. Obviously not for the faint of heart. Which I took the challenge. I spent hours, even reinstalling Arduino IDE and making sure I followed instructions. It's not worth my time to make it work. There are too many other boards that work fine without all this. They need to test with with a test group that has moderate skills and adjust software and instructions to match. That, or at least not it's only for someone willing to spend a lot of time troubleshooting and trying a lot of things. Unless those other platforms work easier. I had ordered another LilyGo product and didn't have any luck with it. Their software was 8 months any updates, and that was for a fix. They have you copying libraries around instead of normal installs, etc. Looking at those libraries were over a year behind. So now wonder it near impossible to work with. As far as I'm concerned stay away from LilyGo until they get stuff right and keep up to date.
